  1. Yes and we are the ones funding that government agency, it's just like closing ramps, ridiculous
  2. I have to admit that it was probably my own stupidity that caused my problem but it seems they could be a bit less prone to heat warp, so for that reason, the two I own will be all I buy, not a fan for that reason......
  3. They must have made a tougher bait for musky, can't imagine one of these newer ones holding up to a giant musky.......or a peacock
  4. Getting back to topic, the fix I did to my WP worked, just like new, now all I have to do is watch where I store it, because I am convinced that if you take one that has been baking in the sun all day, throw it in your rod box and any thing lays in contact with the tail, you're going to have problems. Seems to me they could make the tail with a slightly harder plastic and it would hold up better, but what do I know.........
  5. I worked on said problem WP today, bent paper clip to attach to tail fin to hold it where I thought it should be, taking a little hook out of it, dipped it in boiling water for a couple minutes then put it in the fridge to cool, will try tomorrow and report back. Thanks for your ideas.........
  6. I'm waiting for Dave's seminar on how to do that with the Ned Rig.................
  7. abkeenan, The tail is on a flexible wire so I don't think #3 is the culprit, the tail spins freely (no binding), and I tend to believe that the direct heat laying on the deck has something to do with it but seems funny that only mine would be affected, the tail is very soft so the pitch could be changed very easily on a hot lure, I will experiment with changing the pitch and see if that helps.....I wanted to email River2Sea but their website is not very user friendly for customer support so I might call them if all else fails
  8. New 130 size that worked fine a few times but the other morning it decided to quit working, no whopp, no plopp, just wakes and acts like the body is trying to roll. The tail rotates fine and there is no damage to the bait, it's not taking on water and the rattles are rattling. The only way I can get it to work is jerk it up on plane and reel it fast, if I let it pause and then try to retrieve normally, it just will not get up on plane. I have compared it to another new one and see no difference at all.........anyone else have this problem or have any ideas?
  9. Heard on the news last night, there has been 11 area drownings already this year and the summer is just getting started........it is sad
  10. Look on Amazon for non-prescription Typhoons, $50.00 range, come with and without bi-focal, I love mine with the brown lense
  11. I don't think there is a "peckerhead" smiley....
  12. Thank you sir
  13. Haven't heard it mentioned for a while, anyone heard if it is still on schedule for June or July?
  14. Thank you, always enjoy your reports, keep up the good work
