  1. Curious what the water temp is in the dam area. I'm thinking about heading down this weekend but will hold off of the water temp is below 40.
  2. I wonder why he chose a super fluke over a swimming fluke. Seems the tail would move a little better. Maybe he was going for more of a subtle presentation. I don't know and probably never will haha
  3. If you really want some you can find them at bass pro.
  4. Abkeenan I'm pretty sure the shadow rap is sold out at a lot of places. I checked last night and found some on bass pro but a lot of other places were going pretty fast. I picked up some fish heads as well. I've always wanted to try some but just never pulled the trigger. I ordered them now rather than wait and be sold out.
  5. A rock crawler doesn't catch fish....
  6. Ozarksfishin james Definetly knows about pre rapala warts lol he was just getting us going since its a typical ? On the board. Thanks for the explanation though haha
  7. I already have a 32 and am looking to get another one or 64
  8. Good video bluff bassin. I'm going to buy the Skelton case as we speak so I can charge and record at the same time. It's worth it in my opinion. It protects your camera too. I found a 6ft usb cord as well for $2 on Amazon that is usually $20. Going to pick up a 32g micro sd card too. The go pro will always be on in my boat now!
  9. I can't believe none of them are throwing a jerkbait. Water temp is 43. Think after that cold snap a few bait fish might be quivering around a little.
  10. I learned the stop footage from the Bassmaster guy who does all of their go pro videos. The only problem with the cigarette lighter is when you have other mounts not on the console. I just recently purchased a chest mount I'm looking forward to using and it's impossible to link that up. I also purchased a pole for underwater footage but that is hard to get footage as well. Here is a video my friend made on the current River of us catching fish. Don't judge lol
  11. fishingaddiciton the new thing to do is use your "cigarette" lighter in your boat and have it directly connected to your camera all day. This seems the best way and you can get all the footage you want. Another tip is after you catch a fist is to end the recording and start a new one. This will help finding your catches and cut editing time down.
  12. If its pre rapala it doesn't matter. They don't catch fish anyways
  13. Brett thanks. Also My big fish spot is still protected. I didn't post it in this video. To add to that I'm sure you have all of those spots from the video marked now marked in your gps as we speak lol.
  14. Just uploaded some footage I've had this past year. You guys can check it out at Let me know what you think and what I should do different. I'm new to this so advice is great. Thanks guys
  15. When you are pulling the rod like that trophyfishr you are making it suspend but can still feel the bait and moving it very little. I have added some with suspend dots but prefer it without them.
  16. Ness you are correct. That is the speed according to the gps which is more accurate than speedometer. I never run that fast unless it's a tournament blast off and I'm taking a ride far from take off. Still after that if in fishing areas relatively close to each other I don't get all excited and run WOT. I prefer cruising at 40-45 if I'm foshing for fun.
  17. That is right ozarksfishin. It is a must to feel everything. After watching that wart video Dave made that is on YouTube a few years ago it really made me a better wart fisherman. After going out on the water several times practicing the sweeping motion and reeling up slack will get you more bites and you will feel the might bites which are usually from big ones inhale and over taking your bait.
  18. I don't know what pitch I have on my z-9 but I only get about 70mph on a good day with it. I think I've heard that most z-9 are a little slower boat than others. Can anybody attest to this? Just wondering if I have the right prop on for performance.
  19. The prices haven't went down to much. For some off colors you can find them for sometimes 10-12 bucks a piece but most of the draws are still over $20 and some going for $30.
  20. I've caught fish on that gold thing but better when the water is stained. It may be me but I catch way more fish in the v37 in the clear water than the v38. I prefer the natural colors like v62 and 63 over the 38 as well.
  21. Nitro is coming out with a totally new boat and if I heard correctly a new hull design. The boat is 21' 8" I believe. Brian Snowden and Defoe with other guys I think are using them in the classic as well. I found some pictures esrlier and will lost the. But they are hard to find.
  22. If you are looking for a good affordable spinning reel the. I prefer the pfluger presidents. Great price and they work good. Just get the bigger spook like Dave said. If you want a great deal that will last a long time then the stradic is the way to go. Top of the line drag system and smooth as butter.
  23. 5 bites I was using my phone but had some glitches. Went to the remote it came with but forgot the charger at home so it didn't last all day. The remote is the way to go once you get it figured out. Ha
  24. I just find it weird that there was lots of reports of trout being caught in the dam area last year and some in the dead heat of summer. For them to swim from the roaring river or beaver tailwater is just hard to see happening. That is quite a swim for a fish. Just makes me wonder if people have put them in there on purpose or the hatchery guys aren't telling you something. That was one heck of a rainbow posted a month or so ago caught in table rock.
