  1. Abkeenan I know I'm in trouble with the spro gods haha. I actually prefer the mcstick over the megabass about 80% of the time. The spro bait is way more durable and the paint job doesn't wear as much. The thing about megabass is I really like their colors. Spro has some great colors but megabass has more to choose from. I'm thinking about getting some mcstick blanks if I can find some and having them painted.
  2. Thanks for the color recommendation guys. Quillback you are right. I can see I need about 20 more color options in my arsenal and at least 5 baits in each color which adds up to about $100,000 haha
  3. Thanks I forgot to me to pro blue and Gabe Iused to have a stain reaction but lost it in a cedar. Caught lots of fish on it. Thanks for the reminder.
  4. Just wondering what colors you guys that throw them on table rock like. I've got the kohoku reaction, French pearl, TN shad, Ito wakasagi, and table rock sp.
  5. Nice trip and way to stay after them, especially up shallow like that. Thinking about getting down there this weekend but the weather reports keep changing.
  6. Thanks fishin hodge. It seems it hasn't dropped a whole lot
  7. Curious what the water temp is in the dam area. I'm thinking about heading down this weekend but will hold off of the water temp is below 40.
  8. I wonder why he chose a super fluke over a swimming fluke. Seems the tail would move a little better. Maybe he was going for more of a subtle presentation. I don't know and probably never will haha
  9. If you really want some you can find them at bass pro.
  10. Abkeenan I'm pretty sure the shadow rap is sold out at a lot of places. I checked last night and found some on bass pro but a lot of other places were going pretty fast. I picked up some fish heads as well. I've always wanted to try some but just never pulled the trigger. I ordered them now rather than wait and be sold out.
  11. A rock crawler doesn't catch fish....
  12. Ozarksfishin james Definetly knows about pre rapala warts lol he was just getting us going since its a typical ? On the board. Thanks for the explanation though haha
  13. I already have a 32 and am looking to get another one or 64
  14. Good video bluff bassin. I'm going to buy the Skelton case as we speak so I can charge and record at the same time. It's worth it in my opinion. It protects your camera too. I found a 6ft usb cord as well for $2 on Amazon that is usually $20. Going to pick up a 32g micro sd card too. The go pro will always be on in my boat now!
  15. I can't believe none of them are throwing a jerkbait. Water temp is 43. Think after that cold snap a few bait fish might be quivering around a little.
  16. I learned the stop footage from the Bassmaster guy who does all of their go pro videos. The only problem with the cigarette lighter is when you have other mounts not on the console. I just recently purchased a chest mount I'm looking forward to using and it's impossible to link that up. I also purchased a pole for underwater footage but that is hard to get footage as well. Here is a video my friend made on the current River of us catching fish. Don't judge lol
  17. fishingaddiciton the new thing to do is use your "cigarette" lighter in your boat and have it directly connected to your camera all day. This seems the best way and you can get all the footage you want. Another tip is after you catch a fist is to end the recording and start a new one. This will help finding your catches and cut editing time down.
  18. If its pre rapala it doesn't matter. They don't catch fish anyways
  19. Brett thanks. Also My big fish spot is still protected. I didn't post it in this video. To add to that I'm sure you have all of those spots from the video marked now marked in your gps as we speak lol.
  20. Just uploaded some footage I've had this past year. You guys can check it out at Let me know what you think and what I should do different. I'm new to this so advice is great. Thanks guys
  21. When you are pulling the rod like that trophyfishr you are making it suspend but can still feel the bait and moving it very little. I have added some with suspend dots but prefer it without them.
  22. Ness you are correct. That is the speed according to the gps which is more accurate than speedometer. I never run that fast unless it's a tournament blast off and I'm taking a ride far from take off. Still after that if in fishing areas relatively close to each other I don't get all excited and run WOT. I prefer cruising at 40-45 if I'm foshing for fun.
  23. That is right ozarksfishin. It is a must to feel everything. After watching that wart video Dave made that is on YouTube a few years ago it really made me a better wart fisherman. After going out on the water several times practicing the sweeping motion and reeling up slack will get you more bites and you will feel the might bites which are usually from big ones inhale and over taking your bait.
  24. I don't know what pitch I have on my z-9 but I only get about 70mph on a good day with it. I think I've heard that most z-9 are a little slower boat than others. Can anybody attest to this? Just wondering if I have the right prop on for performance.
