A few years back my brother and i were on table rock doing a night time sail on his 27 ft sailboat, this was when the lake was just low enough for us to get the mast under the bridge. Right as we got passed the bridge we hit a bass boat and it about threw us off the sailboat. It was just floating with no one in it. We hit it going about 4 mph. Cant imagine if we were going 30. Boats were also coming and going out of the cove where Ahoys was. So its probably a good thing we hit it instead. We towed it back to the KC marina and weighted till morning. Found a sticker on it that led us to believe that it was from a rented slip at a resort. So we called and found the owner. My brother made the guy come down and learn to tie some knots before he would let him leave. Put a pretty nice gouge in his fiberglass. All the sailboat needed was some elbow grease

Last night laying in bed it felt like i was still on a boat rocking back and forth. Definitely a tough day fishing a rough day in a tin can.

Didnt hear anything about flat heads. There were camping spots open at 125 marina. Not a ton of them due to the high water

My brother talked to some people that were down last week that got a limit spear fishing walleye. they said they saw tons but most were not keeper size. they also said vis wasnt great but perfect for spear fishing. To clear kinda makes the walleye hard to find in our opinion... My brother and i love diving and spear fishing but we both had babies this year and it is a little tougher to get away ( no complaints, we love those little buggers). were gonna get out just him and i later this month and see what happens. If you go keep us posted on the conditions, we did fish for about an hour at daylight on the point going into Big Creek and caught a few smallies on top. My brother caught a nice keeper smallie on the Ned that i pour. and lost a real nice walleye at the boat in 30 feet casting to probably 10

Well i hate to say it but, we went down and played on the pontoon with the family and never got a dive in. Had a good time though. I will say the vis looked great though. Perfect vis for spearfishing. 10-12 im guessing up high in the water column. Wish i had more info but sometimes hanging with the family is just as good as a dive.

Buck Creek and 125 area. Hope the vis is good enough to make it worth it. I fished DC area a couple weeks ago and it wasnt very clear...fingers crossed

gotta get the #7 flickers deeper, more line out and 8lb max, we get ours down to around 20 with 300' out running at 1.7 mph. ....Its a pain in the butt but it works. . Those big motors scatter the fish, farther out the better in my opinion. Last time i talked to you when we were on Stockton our best color was Tennessee shad. They sell it at cabelas. i go by a cabelas about once evrey two weeks if you ever need some and dont want to pay shipping

i saw one land right in front of the white river fish house while i was fishing one day about 8 years ago. It looked like a home made thing that most would never even think of getting in

It was a hot ,miserable couple days of fish not biting very well. Here is my opinion. I dive the DC area a lot and usually bass are pretty tight on cover at normal lake levels. I dont think Bull has near the amount of cover that Table Rock has. Now there is so much cover that the fish are scattered out all over. Normally lets say on a point with a conservation brush pile almost all the bass are in the middle of it and not there are a million trees that are 30 feet deep in the same area so they are scattered out all over. It was just tough to find water that was 30 feet or less that didnt have a Forrest in it. I will say i saw tons and ton of 1 and 2 inch bass chasing my bait back to the boat so i bet they had a great spawn.. I love Bull more than any lake around but it was a tough cookie to crack this weekend.

5bites, have you casted a 13 fishing reel yet. I was wanting to get one but i throw lefty, i saw in the other thread you said the new ones will have a left. Im def interested in trying one. I just hate spending that kind of money unless i can have some prove they cast good

I have a bunch of Ducketts with micro guides and i love them. I cant really say they cast any farther, but they look cool. My main complaint is you cant use them when it gets cold, they freeze up quick.

That is my first one I have lost. It was on a steep bank. I searched for a while down to 65ft. Too cold down that deep to stay long.

i had a nice lews rod, it is at the bottom of a bluff in the diamond city area. I really liked it though. Marked the spot and went back the next week with my dive gear, but it was long gone

I have an 2008 Merc 4 stroke i was wanting to get the hours checked, does anyone know where i can get this done around springfield. I call Sport Boats USA last week and they said it would be $50. Then today when i was getting ready to bring it in they said it would be 1 hour worth of labor $99. Kinda pissed me off. I understand they need to make a little but $99 to plug a computer into it is redic
