Colors really hasn't mattered to much I used firetiger mostly but caught them on gold, clown and sunrise also. Today wasn't nearly as good only had 15 with 3 keepers.

From about 9 to 2. We always seem to do better in the middle of the day. Which is hard for me to get thru my head. I usually want to be on the lake early and late. But when I started learning to walleye fish I kept hearing the last half our of day light. Or a good cloudy windy day. I have found the opposite. Hot sunny days and I think a little wind helps but we have caught a lot of walleye when it is calm. Now I am talking in June July August and September. I haven't caught enough walleye any other time of year to even talk about. But I am gonna try to learn more about it this year.

Thanks for all the reports Lowe. I fished today and yes you can go under the bridge just no wake. Trolled crawler harnesses in 17 ft of water had 28 walleye with 5 keepers. By myself today. The mrs. will be with me tomorrow.

Nice job. Great report. You r more brave than us. We fished Monday for about 5 hrs had 24 walleye with 4 keepers. Bottom Bouncing 13' to 22".

I know I had a hard time finding them also. Everharts in Clinton has the wires and I have a lot of lead so I bought a mold and pour my own. We are weeding thru a lot of shorts to get our keepers. But they r fun to catch any way. We haven't used slow death but that should work. We r using spinners any color really. I was using firetiger and the Mrs. was using clown. And she was fish for fish with me and the second day had more keepers.

Fished by myself for 5 hours tuesday mid morning and 2 hrs Tuesday evening when wife arrived. We both fished for 5 hours Wednesday morning. total for the trip 102 walleye with 17 keepers. Bottom bouncing with harnesses in 15 to 21 FT. of water. Biggest fish 20 inches.

I use a trolling motor and troll at 1.0 to 1.4 using a 2oz bottom bouncer and spinner crawler harness. 2 mph seems to fast to me also. I fished today on Stockton wind beat us up pretty good very hard to keep the correct speed still caught 35 with only 4 keepers. I wasn't to smart left fish to go find fish found a few but what we left was better than what we found. lol

Also 5 years ago I didn't know anything about walleye fishing but I researched it and read everything I could on walleye fishing and especial fishing Stockton lake. Reading the info on here helped a lot. I want to thank everyone who post on here for the help!!

Wife and I went yesterday. The fishing was tough till noon. only had a couple before then Ended up with 44 walleye 10 keepers. Fished from 7:30 to 4:30. When the sun cam out around noon they turned on. Most came in 15 to 20' of water few on jig and crawler most on bottom bouncers and spinner rigs. I have pics of the 8 that made it to the box. Cant figure how to get them on here will keep trying. One more thing I would like to say I didn't put the 111 fish post on here to cause arguments rather it was the first time we had that much success in that short of a period. Earlier this year I couldn't buy a limit. But the last month has been phenominal. The hotter and sunnier is seems to get the better we do. The worst thing about it is as u may recall I lost my father in may of 2014. I wish I could pick up the phone and tell him about it or him be in the boat next to me. But I have my wife sister and brother in law to share it with and for that I am thankful. Don't forget to spend time with the ones you care about most cause u may not be able to later.

I am definitely not a guide. And Walleyed Mike is correct I was fishing with my wife. And My sister and Brother in law were fishing next to us for the day and a half. They caught 26 walleye in the same amount of time.. I knew that I would be questioned about my truthfulness as I do not have any pics. Again I was fishing 15 TO 20 deep on bottom bouncers with spinner rigs and half a crawler.

We have fished it a lot also, this has been a bad year catching walleye until the the last two weeks. We have just been using bottom bouncers and crawler harnesses. Color didnt seem to matter. I dont know what we did any different than anyone else. 11' to 18' deep. My sister and her husband were fishing right next to us doing the same thing and they caught 19 fish in the same time period. We just got lucky felt like we were in Canada for a little while.

Wife and I fished Tuesday and half a day today. 111 total walleye with 28 keepers of course didn't keep that many. lol bottom bouncer and crawler.

Thanks for the report. Great eyes. I am having trouble catching keepers last Tuesday caught 28 walleye by myself only had 5 legal fish.

We have been having trouble finding keepers been bottom bouncing and jig and crawler. I have almost no experience trolling cranks. Out of five trips this year usually catch 5 to 8 fish per trip but have only had one keeper every trip although did loose a very good fish about 3 weeks ago. I am ready for it to get hot and stay hot.. I hate the heat but I can usually put more fish in the boat with those conditions.

Had a rough time only caught 22 walleye only 4 keepers biggest 23.5" between 7 of us. No real patter caght them Jig and crawler, crawler harnesses and trolling cranks. Two biggest came on jig and crawler.

Anyone know of the water temp around Diamon City or where a guy could find that info?

Thank you all for you input and advice. I haven't done much trolling but will give it a try. I will report back Thursday and let you know how the 4 days went.

Going to be down in the Diamond City area on the 5-3,4,5 With my two sisters and there husbands having a family walleye tournament in memory of our father who died last May 4th. Do you think Jig and crawler and bottom bouncing with spinners will be a good way to catch them. What depth should we be looking at? Any help would be appreciated.

Really was looking for guys opinions about when the Jig and Crawler bite would begin. Is that something that you catch them on all year long or does it start when they move back from there spawning areas at a certain water temp. Those type of things.

When does a jig and crawler and bottom bouncers with crawler harnesses start becoming effective for walleye?. Have only been fishing the lake for about 3 years and the earliest we have caught them on jig and crawler was April 26 didn't write down the water temp. Is there a water temp to look for?
