Wife and I got to get out on the lake yesterday. Had to search for them but finally scratched out a few we ended up with 6 keepers and 9 shorts. All were released. Had the good fortune to meet up with Walleye Mike and his wonderful wife for lunch at State park marina had a great time chatting with them.

Wasn't bass fishing but caught a bunch while walleye fishing yesterday. Fished 20ft deep mostly. Caught them in crawler harnesses and jig and crawler. Don't know how that would translate to bass lures. Maybe Carolina or Texas rigged plastic worms.

Lower lake was still in good shape. Had a limit of keeper walleye and 2 shorts. All were released. Very tough fishing. Fish were scattered. Caught a load of bass. If you got shallower than 20 ft. Couldn't keep the moss off of the spinners.

Has anyone been on the lake today? I am planning a trip down tomorrow. Wondered what the clarity and temps were. Will pronably put in at Orleans trail.

Hit the water about 8:30 This morning with my favorite fishing partner. Between the two of us had 20 keepers and 2 shorts. Caught both our limits on Bb and harnesses them switched to jig and crawler and caught more than another limit apiece. She said she wanted a few for the smoker so we brought 4 home the rest were released to be caught another day. Fished about 6 Hr's.

That's a great mess of fish.

Haha. Walleye legend my, you know what. Lol. Not even close there r a bunch of great walleye fisherman on here that I have learned from. And we r lucky enough to put a few in the boat on occasion. We really enjoyed fishing next to bird watcher and his fishing buddy. Very nice gentlemen. My wife and I both made the comment on how considerate they were. You could tell If You thought you were making us move off of the line we were fishing you would move so you were not in impending us and that is something very rare. I hope you felt that we were just as accomodating. At least we were trying to be. Lol. Very good report looks like you worked and made a difficult day into a really good One. You r gonna have to show me what you mean by jigging your bottom bouncer on the turns. Hope to run into you again.

They wanted gold spinner today. Normally give me 3 colors firetiger golden shiner or firetiger. Yes I know I said firetiger twice. Lol

A buddy and I put in at Orleans Trail. Headed south. Bottom bouncing 12 to 20ft. Had 13 walleye total 2 shorts and 11 keepers biggest 21" Buddy took a limit home for supper. The rest released. No pics today.

Well I'll be working while your sleeping tonight. And I drive two hrs to fish so I have to work at it.

Caught 6 keepers today. Same deal as Sunday. Bb with spinners 18ft. Water temp 59.8

That's good to hear cause we released 3 of our 8 walleye limit yesterday and took 5 home. We had 11 keepers and took 5 home at the end of the day.
