Thank you! When I bought this kayak on Sunday the guy at ozark mountain trading company was showing me the new tarpons and showed me an older one and how perception bought the old tarpon 120 mold. The new tarpon 120 were really nice. Just didn't have that kind of money. Haha.

I seem to better on the river from 3-dark. I usually do ok in the mornings. But numbers wise my best fishing is always afternoon. That's if I get off the couch from ac cold drinks and chips. Haha

Well took it out on the James river tonight after work. Had 9 fish in about 2 1/2 hours. Caught all but 2 on a squarebill. The others were on senkos. I can only get one picture to upload off my phone. Ill try and post the rest here in a bit. The kayak did great floated pretty straight, was comfortable the whole time and the fishing was good which made it that much better. Definitely need do lil tweaking here and there just make it a little easier holding and storing stuff. Can't wait to take it out again.

Thanks for all the help guys. The ascend fs 10 sold and I decided I wanted a sit on top. I ended up getting a perception pescador 12 from ozark mountain trading company. I'm hoping to take it out tonight after work for its first trip. Very excited and seems to be a good lil kayak. Will give an update tonight or Tomorrow on how I like it.

Lol well glad I wasn't leaning towards the heritage 10'. I'm a bigger guy 6'4 230's. I do need some back support help hold my belly up. Haha. But on a serious note I feel like I'm a big enough guy a 12 foot is definitely something ill want instead of the 10ft. If any of you have any yaks with mods and stuff post them up. I love seeing people's mods and getting cool ideas for what I could do to them.

Hey guys I'm looking at a wilderness systems pungo 12 ft and ascend fs 10 the ascend is about 130 cheaper. Both are slightly used. Is there that big of a difference in tracking and speed. I will mostly be fishing on Springfield lake and the James river. Just getting into kayak side of fishing. Any advice would be awesome.!
