  1. Joe bass on Stockton today took over 23lbs to win it. Seen several 20lb sacks. And they said there aren't any big fish in Stockton.
  2. Saturday was kinda stuff to start. Ended up with several keepers and these two chunks at 4lbs.
  3. Well. Those are keeper largemouth. And the walleye is about double that. So. Around 28-30". Weight was I believe around 12#.
  4. An old old pic. But it's a good one. Biggest walleye I've ever seen.
  5. I think that guy follows people around on the lake as well. So many people don't even know how to figure fish out on their own. It's sad. Takes all the work and fun out of it.
  6. Anybody ever fish it. I'd be off the bank. Been down there once with no luck. Fished wilson creek(everybody said there weren't any fish). I ended up catching 15 Smallies. Several over 3lbs. And 10 big big crappie. But wanted to the girlfriend out and Delaware town is closer than anything. Any tips? Any good spots from the bank.
  7. The Aldrich boat ramp has always been good to me. Especially with that flat and channel swing coming off the bluff and going under the bridge. I'd say that'd be pretty hot about now.
  8. Cannot release all details. Tourney coming up. Will say. Close to dam. Shallow. Clear water. Size down and light line and weights.
  9. Thank you.
  10. Haha. It's called SnapSeed on the App Store. I use Instagram a lot. Would like to eventually sell photos that I take.
  11. Here's a few more. Stockton Lake From Republic, Mo Frosty morning from the house Sunset from the house Stockton State Park AG plane in front of our house
  12. What next? No big motors on Stockton because kayakers use the lake. Lol c'mon now. I agree springfield lake is tiny. But why not close the lake to all except bank fishing and walking trails. Those 10+ pound largemouth are tempting though....
  13. What's a smallmouth of a lifetime weigh? Had one 6lb 1oz smallie on Stockton a few years back. Does that qualify?
  14. They are definitely fun. Especially when the big one was ripping drag and I'm telling dad here's your big one and he's fumbling for the net. Lol had two boats pull up within 20 yards and try pushing us off and casting over our lines. One guy said "is that a largemouth". We caught them all around the dam. Too many boats anywhere else with the Pro-am going on.
  15. Had about a 6-8# channel yesterday on a 45 degree big chunk rock bank. Close to the bank.
  16. The middle 3 are from Stockton. And the others are from Table Rock. Thanks guys. Have several more. Just don't wanna take up the forum with pics haha
  17. I guess there weren't any big fish left.
  18. These are pictures that I have taken around the area. All taken with my IPhone5.
  19. 1. Squarebill 2. DD-22 3. Buzz bait 4. Jig 5. Spinnerbait
  20. You forgot to add. My filet knife is sharpened for more dinner haha
  21. Lol. Seems I struck a nerve with something. Was it the fact that I can catch big fish. Or the fact that you don't have any facts. I catch plenty of 15" fish. And I catch plenty of big fish. Keeping one or the other(size or species) doesn't not affect the lake which we all agree is full of fish. And in a week the lake will have millions more(fry) to make up for the 6 in the grease. I abide by the laws. Which are in place for a reason. Just because one angler does not follow your strict guidelines. The lake will not go dry. Hope to see you on the water.
  22. I don't wear panties guy. I am a man. Thank you. Common sense? I'm just a kid remember. I don't know any of that. I just know I've probably caught more big fish off this lake than most people. They are extremely abundant. But I guess MY opinion comes from actually being able to catch them. And you've been at this for 2 days now. You don't have any facts but you can sit here and say that there aren't enough big fish in the lake. My "Opinions" are backed up by consistently catching big fish. Not having to read a public forum and follow boats around to catch fish. I don't fish for 15" bass. I fish for big fish. Anybody can catch shorts and swimmers...
  23. I just asked you. You said there were more 15" bass than 8lb bass... Nobody knows how many of what size bass are in any lake. Nobody. Electro shocking only covers the first 5-10' of the water column. What about the other 60-80'? Stockton is full bass regardless. Big and small. And of all 3 species. There should be ZERO complaining about me or anybody else keeping a fish. Of any species. I don't go fishing and wonder. What will you say about me keeping this. I honestly don't care. But for you to sit here and act like a saint, know-it-all, and a biologist is ridiculous.
  24. How do you know how many 8lbers are in the lake??? I'd love to see your data.
  25. Stockton is stocked every year with walleyes. 1-2" in size may be small. But numbers prevail. They reach 15" in two years. If you want a walleye season. Expect numbers to drop. Not rise. Creating a season will force MDC to slow the rate they stock the lake. I see no problem with the size of eyes in Stockton. If you're only catching keepers. Then change tactics. Don't become complacent with 15-17". Fish for big fish. Catch big fish. There are BIG Walleyes in Stockton!
