Hey champ thanks. Its been a pretty good year for me up there. Finally started to put the pieces to the puzzle together. (Unlike last year it was rough) Well I'm lucky to enough to have a wife and both my boys that are just as addicted to fishing as I am ???. By 10 both boys we're passed out in the floor while the wife was was sleeping on the back deck by 12 ????.. So as they we're sleeping I was fishing...

I fish the james weekly. Was up there yesterday from 3pm to 130am. Caught several fish on long points with a football jig. Then found some fish on the main creek channel 30ft deep on the tops of the trees. I was throwing a square bill making long cast along or on top of the trees. After dark went to a wobblehead with a beaver. On bluff ends caught several more doing this. I'd say we had 15 to 25 fish with 8 keepers. Wasn't a bad day. Don't be afraid to throw a buzz bait ( black seems to be my best) around trees/brush and come back with that jig. I had my two kids so fishing to close to the bank would of been a nightmare. I also have the Bluewater livewell light and running lights. So far in my opinion they sale a great product. Zero issues.

Hey bobby Yeah I have the 40 inch leds. They are mounted above the rub rail on my champion. But on my dad's skeeter his are mounted inside the rub rail. Either way seems to work great. I like mine mounted on my champion above because it has a flat spot right above the rub rail. I was kinda worried about them shining in my eyes and i havent had that issue yet.Plus mine has the old style rope inside of the rub rail. Didn't really wanna take a chance in messing that up by cutting it out. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to message me.

I second this. The rub rail lightsystem I use ( Bluewater) by far the best I've ever used. Very bight and I have mine on a dimer. I'm also very bad about running with my back lights on and from now on I will not do so. I never thought of these points made above.

Just got off the phone with kelly. He said " it's 120 a boat " I believe it's out of the state marina. Kelly seems like a really nice guy and I really like what this tournament stands for.

That last time I checked it was 15 for all. But heck I could be wrong.

I agree 100 percent with this. I have a 184 with a 150 merc. Been on the lake many times where slow and steady gets me where I wanna be.

I have yet to figure out how to catch a fish doing 60. Many days I run 4500 rpms and sipping the gas with the ol 150 merc. Anymore they make thesẽ boats like chevy/ford it's more of a preference. All are great and serve there purpose to get us on and off the water safe and have a great time doing it.
