  1. Alex well said! I don't think these guys care. They will continue to do what they do. These reports might not be important to them but to me and I'm sure you. We look forward to getting on and readimg all the reports that these guys put together including yourself. We forget they don't have to do them. They take time out of there day to share there time on the lake with us. These guys might soon find out that they needed these reports more then they thought. There cooler full of fish isn't so full or the bass that they clame to be easy to catch isn't so easy anymore. To be honest I hope this is the case for us C and R guys. Thanks for your input. I also wasn't going to chime in but couldn't help it.
  2. Yep! I am very disappointed. This site has been a place I look too when fishing is tough for pointer and hints. These guys will forget more about this lake then most of these guys will EVER know. That's the truth. So joke all you want and do what u want to do. But I know personally this will hurt my chances of going out and catching fish on tr. These guys have helped many people who haven't floated a boat on this lake. I'm sure they are grateful and will also be disappointed to hear this news.
  3. Thank you I appreciate it.
  4. I told myself I would waste my time on this post. But your right.
  5. Was there alot of trash? Thanks for the report
  6. Wow awesome Job guys. The future is bright. Love that they let these young men and women get involved in fishing early.
  7. Awesome report. Time well spend I bet. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Awesome report. Good to see them ol mean mouth beenin caught. Thanks for sharing
  9. I'm looking for a 24 v trolling motor let me know what you have and how much thanks
  10. Well put hammer time. I couldn't agree more. There's not many of us left.
  11. You lost me at hitch hikers lol. But ok lol
  12. Why yes I purchase several deer tags 3 for my bow (including a doe tag) and 2 for my rifle (including my doe tag) and a fishing license trout stamp. Great question.
  13. I'm going to venture to say that there are more deer in the state of mo then there are keeper bass in table rock. Fry is the lowest thing on the food chain where a new born deer yes has to defend him or herself there survival rate is greater. Yes fish produce more eggs but deer season isn't all year like you stated before about table rock and keeping 6 keepers all year. You looking thought a small glass I'm talking the whole state of mo deer population. Yes but where you might have 8000 fry fish you will still only have so many keeper bass after those 4 years. I can do this all day. The reason I stated you can't compare the two to be honest is because I'm about over this conversation. People will keep whatever they want off any lake in the state and continue to kill whatever makes them happy and I will continue to c and r and manage my deer herd the way I want too. I'm also going to venture to say that my way of doing things will turn out better for myself and then the others. The proof is on my profile picture.there again I'm sure we will not agree.
  14. Thanks champ for the report. It helps me bang my head against the wall lol. Wish these fish would make up there mind.
  15. Your right the only thing I see missing is it takes 4 years to have a keeper bass. So I'm also bad at math. But if you have 300 fawns and in 4 years that would be 1200 deer. Where you would have 2000 keepers right? So that's pretty close. Another thing I wanted to figure out. There was 256697 deer killed total though out deer season last year. But if you take for example 100 people fish table rock a day for a whole year and keep there 6 keepers they would of removed 219,000 keeper bass. Where it takes 4 years to grow those keepers those deer that are born last year will have a chance in beenin killed this year . So there's all kinds of ways to look at it. You really can't compare the two.
  16. Very good read thanks for sharing. Let's all just keep our 6 keepers every trip out for a year. Then see what those numbers look like per hour after time.
  17. I've done more then my part to help out
  18. Well said seth.
  19. iclass nothing was taken personal. You are correct u can keep 6 bass a day every hour of everyday of the year. So does that mean there's more keepers then deer?I don't know. It was a question hoping to get a answer. So there again just because we see things differently doesn't make either one of us bad guys. I deer hunt but don't keep bass. That's the root of this. Guess we will have to agree to disagree.
  20. deer should have that luxury in my opinion. You kill all 3 1/2 year old bucks you are hurting the over all herd. But you let that deer grow till his full potential. Plus you pass his genes though those years. Just like if you kill all the young does that will reproduce at a higher # and keep those yearlings It doesn't do any good. But there's people out there that kill to kill age ect doesn't matter. But there again it's legal for people to kill anydeer or age and that's there right. Just because I voice my opinions dosent make it right or wrong.
  21. Its my herd because I keep the things deer like. Such as food cover and water. I might lose one or two due to the rut but that's it. Anyways yours a little off too. There for years you could buy a unlimited number of doe tags in the northern counties of mo. More keeper bass? Don't think this thread was about him keeping g short fish? I apologize if I figured u would connect the dots.
  22. One last point you think the deer and car collisions are bad now? Just think about if we didn't manage the herd. I don't know about you but I'm not in the business to pay deductibles every year . What the worst that can happen with not keeping bass me and my boy go out and enjoy more catching of keepers?
  23. Lets just make this simple. Iclass I pass deer every year young bucks young does ect. I only harvest the deer that will help my deer herd. The deer pictured was past his prime at 8 years old he didn't have any teeth and probably had more issues then we know. So in turn I did that deer a favor. I have a list I put together each year for up and comers that will be the same as this buck from last year. What good does keeping 15 in bass or even a 6 lber out of the lake do? Can u deside that fish doesn't do the fish population any good? Do u know that fish wouldn't spawn? I hunt my deer to help grow my population unlike these people who go out and kill #s and young deer. Let's just get that straight. But then again this is my opinion on how it should be done and I'm sure there's some that disagree with how I do it.
  24. There's more whitetail deer in the state of missouri. Then there are bass in table rock. I wasn't clear on that. I apologize
