Thank you mixermarkb. That is one thing I noticed was I can run wot around corners there's not filling of slipping or like it's floating. I'm running a 25p tempest at 5600 rpms at about 59.2 mph on gps. didn't think that was to bad. I was on pomme the other day and wind was blowing she did good with some decent rollers. I figured the more seat time the better I'll get.
Hey fishinwrench 150 cost me 3600 bucks. They took the 175 off my hands to install my new motor for labor. my first trip was a rough one with the new motor kept getting over heat alarM. I called ulrich and they flat out took care of me. Pulled in the same day dropped everything and had both mechanics on my boat. when I say I've been very pleased with ulrich and they way they handle business and there customers it's a understatemenT. Hard to find those kind of people and customer service Anymore. Plus 10
Well broke down and bought me a super v. Not the newest or the top of the linE but for its age I must say it's been very well taken care of. When I bought the boat it had a mercury 175 efi on it. We'll I wasn't aware that the powerhead wasnt in the best shape. So after 4 trips to the lake and nothing but troubles. Took her to a friend who is a licensed boat mechanic. Broke the bad news to me that it was going to cost more to put a new powerhead on it then it would to buy a nice used mercury. So called around to some local shops and ulrich had a 1999 mercury 150 with low hours and was a trade in. I must say I'm very impressed with ulrich and will be going back for any service and would recommend them to anyone. So now she's lake ready.
I love the ride and the way she handles for a 18ft 4in boat. If anyone has any more info on these boat I'd love to learn More.

Hey guys. Headed to pomme Friday to bass fish I'll be launching at bolivar landiNg. Any tips or pointers on what they are biting on? Are they on beds yet? What part of the lake is fishing the best? I can run anywhere on the lake.
Thanks in advance
cody
If you see a blue and grey champion stop and say hi.
I couldnt get my other pics to load sorry. Thanks champ. Really expected a slower day since there wasn't alot of sun. but they really did bite decent. going back out in the am to see if I can't fine tune a pattern.
Launched about 0845 waiting for a sun that never showed up. Water temp was 43.1 and never seen a major warm up. I started fishing wind blow main lake points with a jerk bait. Caught 6 with that 2 keepers lm. Then moved to wind blown bluff throwing a Arig caught 7 more with six of them been keepers and these couple hogs Kentuckys. Not a bad day on the water windy and cold. But alot of fun
Wow thank you guys for the awesome responses.
Champ I'm sure I'm going to talk Petes ears off with questions. I'm going to be like a sponge and take every word in. Sir your not preaching nothing just helping us out. you've fed us as a group with more helpful information though this website. I personally wanna thank you and your wife.
Longball, I've always watched his fishing reports and check his website for local tournys. But I won a 4 hour trip though my work. But had plans on booking soon anyways. 888-214-1767 is the number I callEd. I guess I talked to his wife she was very nice and helpful.
Champ, I'm really looking forward to it. I've watched every fishing report for ever and always wanted to go and learn. I figure I'll learn more in 4 hours with him then I can by myself In years.
Finally get to go on a guided fishing trip with pete. I won a 4 hour trip though my work. I am able to bring a friend and there's no one I would rather bring then my dad. We both are looking forward to learning and catching some fish with the best guide on table rock.
