the talk is about all the young power arms the birds have.......ones that have not made it to the big club yet!!! wow is all I can say, cause they had a bumper crop of them last year on the club!!! go birds!!!!

I don't feel very good about Mizzou winning on the road!!! Early in the season, maybe, got lucky at ARK and have been bad since (aka the Tide) Out of our hands!!!

where is Kim Anderson these days??? I had the pleasure of observing a Missouri basketball practice years ago during the Norm years......Norm was working the crowd, which was cool, while Kim was teaching/coaching the floor.........OTF.....thinkin' you on to something there!!!

19 7 and in every game down to the wire!!! aren't we spoiled....norm forever, then quinn and anderson......those shoes of norm's have been hard to fill. We are sitting in our armchairs doing a wonderful job but things could be much worse...it is frustrating but I still think the are getting better.....last nite, they tried to get the tempo going early but missed shots that would have put vandy out of it early......just did not happen!!! trying to keep the faith here!!!!

If i were a missouri guard, I would not pass it to any of those post players either......if they catch it, they don't know what to do with it, then give it away. They are there to take up space and try to rebound!!! ...and that is their role!!! I agree with coach knight, set those bigs up high so there is room to work down below...haith could learn a lot from listening to knight!!! (as all coaches could)

Mizzou should have put the hawgs away numerous times.....each time they built a nice lead,....had to have been 3 or 4 times, they let them back in instead of putting them away!!! wes clark struggled at the point and it drove me crazy when after a made basket, the tigers dilly dallied around letting arkansas get into their press instead of getting the ball in and going before they had a chance to set it up.....as usual, the 3 guards were good ....the post weak.....and total agreement on criswell!!!

expecting another hackfest from the hawgs.......since missouri won at arkansas, surely they can beat them at home!!! they need to start stringing some wins together to go with all of those quality losses!!!

I don't know what to say about this Missouri team (that has not already been said)...they have some quality losses, that is for sure!!! I still think they are getting better, just cannot get over the hump........and running out of time to do it!!! #13 SLU slips by a mediocre mid major LaSalle by 2.........Cannot believe they are ranked that high!!!

I think they are well coached, but the skill level, IMO, is a notch below watching mizzou and the SEC teams !!! they don't have the shooters MIZZOU has, or the guard play......clarkson is a handful at the point for everybody they have played at this point and jabari brown and ross are scoring machines......they look like they are putting it together!!! and they did put it together vs arkansas.......Do not think SLU can go into arkansas and win!!!!!!!!!!

missouri kept going on runs when arkansas got close or took the lead....great composure by the tigers!!! the end of the first half was brutal offensively when brown and ross both had to sit.....turned a ten point lead into a 2 point lead over the last five minutes.... still hate anderson's style of slap and hack, even when at mizzou......thought the officials did a good job dealing with it, which surprises me at home!!! mizzou blows out arkansas at home unless something drastic happens!!!! I am gladly eating my words of ark winning by 10+.........teams get better or worse, they don't stay the same,,,,,,,,maybe the tigers are getting better!!! agree about comment on kentucky!!!

...the mismatch inside bothers me vs kentucky......even at home!!! arkansas could make the mistake of pressing missouri too much tonite which would allow missouri guards drives to the basket......if arkansas packs in the zone, missouri has little chance to be in it!!!

arkansas wins at arkansas by 10+ and missouri wins at missouri by 10+.......the state of college basketball today!!! missouri loses to kentucky at home because they won't be able to handle the wildcats bigs........where is oriaki when you need him?????

....its like all the mizzou road games look exactly the same, no matter the opponent.......this year and last year!!! HARD to watch!!!

agree....sherman is an idiot......learn to be a gracious winner!!! the roughing the punter missed call was huge, the missed fumble recovery only supported the ineptness of the officials and that san fran had no chance!!! and I think there was another terrible call that went against them....... the real 12th man was wearing stripes.....and I didn't care who won!!!

very late to this party......been depressd since the Mizzou loss knowing they had a shot at national title if they won (knowing mich st take it to THE ohio state).......watching mizzou try to stop the run with a 3 man front had me cussing for 3 quarters!!! YOU just don't do that......backwards IMO.....you load the box and force the pass!!! they needed to attack the pocket and the best way to do that is to put your two interior linemen in the A gaps and fire straight ahead, that way it takes the center and both guards to block 2 people, you then 4 technique, or go head up on the tackles and fire into the tackle to contain him, you have two backers stacked behind the 4 technique who fire thru the B gap uncontested into the backfield and into the face of the qb at the time he is making that read.......man coverage with safety free.........causes all kinds of problems for that offense and we would have won that game by 3 touchdowns!!!! go tigers, beat okie state!!!!

after reading this entire thread, it makes me think some of you have forgotten that bama is finished for the year......auburn and mizzou have one game left. If mizzou wins, they leap frog bama (for beating another ranked opponent......computer for sure) and if ohio state loses to michigan state, the winner of the sec title game plays in the NC game!!! Bama will get a better bowl than the loser of the SEC title game due to only one loss.....

...those two florida guys.......the only way that happens is that they both have their eyes closed!!! ....cause they skeeeered!!!
