  1. Still color, tons of guys out. At least seven boats at the mouth of swan creek. A bunch lined up down Beaver. Talked to a bunch, a cpl had caught one. I never fished just walked the dog lol. PS, that is exactly how I broke it, had to be at least a 15lb crappie.
  2. I drove by yesterday looked muddy yet, heading that way soon from Branson to look again. Hit Beaver for a bit yesterday it was also brown. Cpl mentioned a few whites caught in AM.
  3. I have managed to find a cpl places on TR to bank fish for cats. During the spring I tear em up around Cricket Creek, between marina and swimming beach. Tad early for them, believe the are the last to spwn in the higher water temps, 65-70? A few my last trip last year.
  4. When I used to fish at night, I used big sculpins and wullies, had some SCI ANG line that you could shoot a camera flash into and it would faintly glow.
  5. Going to try later this afternoon/evening again, I was there a little early/late however you want to look at it. 2pm. Say hello if you see us.
  6. Went down yesterday...Cpl guys said they caught a few in the AM, I was out for about 30 minutes before I broke my pole. None were being caught, or on surface while I was there.
  7. This year sometime I am going to hire him, got to get out in a boat one more time before I croak lol.
  8. Sorry for you loss, I moved my mother down her from Nebraska after father passed. Sold my boat to put in handicap equipment. The thought of losing her keeps me up at night sometimes. I feel for you. Keep your head up, prayers sent.
  9. Lol Quill, been thinking about finding a red wig for him, really mess with people out there. At least I might get some bank space this spring lol. I wish I still had my boat, be interesting to see him in one, nice pup.
  10. THANK YOU for posting, I live through you guys anymore.
  11. Good start , been thinking of just going for a walk with dog and check out your dock.
  12. I don't think he was to thrilled lol. Fished above swan off little bluffs, caught a cpl bass in an hour on a swimmiing minnow type of thing. Then we went on walkabout.
  13. Unless I can miraculously walk on water I could never jump your spots lol, someday I might have a boat again. Will wave at ya from the bank. Might have to rent one for a day or two this spring so I can feel normal again. Give em hell ladies.
  14. Broke into my shed while at work, took most all my stuff, poles, waders, freakin all. Built it back up slowly, went to store, unloaded, apparently forgot to lock up, they got all again. See ya in the Spring maybe....to stinking broke to worry about that stuff now.
  15. Since I had to sell my boat, I did go out to Long Creek and fish off the bank for a bit. Had one beer, one cigarette, took a pee and caught no fish. Now you know why I lurk, DON"T TAKE MY SPOT, only place on the lake where you can pee freely and not catch a fish, been hunting for this spot for years.
  16. I am one of those trolls I guess, but I just get to set on the bank and watch you guys fish lol. Still nice to see what you guys are doing and live vicariously through ya, sorry to be a 'troll'.
  17. I might have passed ya was in Silver HHR, fished same spot, two small trout. Left right around 3 had things to get done.
  18. Making me jeolous, went to 76 Bridge area for a bit, notta. Wish I had my boat now lol.
  19. I am about ready to start hitting that area myself, and same thing sad to say, I have been culled down to bankfishing. Hit me up 6'6" old guy, deep voice, Silver HHR lol.
  20. Been out on Long Creek (End of Tate Rd.) if you know that area, went out last night after work, managed to catch two decent bass, two oh..3-6lb channels, and my best flathead of the year in the 15-18lb range. Not sure why more don't hit that area hard, I see some big butt bass just cruising the bank here sometimes, like 1975 Big Bass. Wish I could find my darn camera to show ya proof, but they are still out there. Sure a few of ya can translate that into something for our fishing. Was a little cold out, not bad 50 or a tad less, but that was what the fire and a cpl beers were for. Heard some big surface hits for the cpl hours I was out there. 10-1am or so. God I hate I had to sell my little boat. (It was to help pay for a family members funeral, so I do not feel bad about that in the least), but I got fish in the freezer. Grew up on that lake, miss my spots lol. Give em hell boys.
  21. Been settin at the end of Tate Rd off Long Creek seeing you guys go by. Seen a cpl BIG BASS in that area just off the bank. I even lucked out and caught about a 3.5 lb smallmouth and had to be a 20# Channel Cat (I know, bankfisherman).
  22. Tell her they are just scales.
  23. Would that apply to flatheads? Caught one about 10-12 lbs last week, when I cleaned it I swore I saw an eggsack?
