  1. Are you catching them up shallow on main lake pockets, or more in the backs of creeks?
  2. Bo what rod do you use to fish these jigs?
  3. You can check water temps on some gauges
  4. Ordered 60 today for that purpose to last me the spring
  5. What time of the year do you do this
  6. Me either,
  7. Do tell, what kind, pictures?
  8. I was at swepco the same time as him, he fished down by the dam the whole time they were there. Didn't know it was him for most of the time, he was in a bright yellow nitro.
  9. I am a product of Mississippi crappie trolling, and all I troll is bandit 300s. For the price, I think they can't be beat, especially in murkier water. They hooks are even pretty good. But oddly, I really only catch crappie on them on beaver. The occasional bass or walleye

If we're Looking for an example, I can say that I have experienced first hand remarkable striper, smallmouth, and black bass fishing all within a mile of each other on Kentucky lake, and the lake itself is one of the countries best across the board, and has a self sustaining, non recently stocked striper fishery.
  11. There is no comparing beaver to LOZ. It's unsafe to be on ski boats at times with risk of being swamped because of all the cigarette boats. The sheer number and size is something to be in awe of.
  12. Ledge fishing will always be best on River generation lakes where current is a lot more significant than beaver. Think pickwick and Kentucky lake. Bass will sit down current of these ledges because they create a current break and they wait for schools of shad to go over them and then they come up and ambush. Not saying ledges aren't good in lakes. But they can be amazing out on pickwick with big schools of bass. Worth noting, for current ledge fishing, you want ledges that are perpendicular to the current direction.
  13. I caught a few short walleye right on point 12 in July so I would venture to say not all go to the dam.
  14. What small lakes do you recommend ?
  15. I am wanting to troll crank baits for crappie tomorrow, normally like pt. 12 area is still muddy. Is beaver shores muddy?
  16. When were walleye first stocked? visiting broken bow lake and it seems that walleye are doing quite well there after being stocked in the 1980s
  17. That would definitely work. But it's about to be crank bait pulling season for crappie. Trolling bandit 300s will work well too.
  18. I know trollers in MS that all use golf cart batteries and swear by them
  19. I will buy it if it's still available
  20. Caught a prespawn hybrid today at sidewalk hole war eagle arm.
  21. BIG HAMMER SWIMBAITS
  22. What website is this that you speak of?
  23. I never have gotten tangled in it, possibly luck, but it does work. My bucket goes straight out of the back of my boat in about an 8 foot rope so it is not near the prop. For perspective, the crappie guys in Mississippi that I learned how to troll cranks from, troll theirs at about 1.7 mph. Granted dirtier water may have something to do with it, but a loss of speed on your part would probably be worth a try.
  24. I use a 6 gallon bucket on my boat. And it slows me from 2.5 to 1.9. No holes drilled; basic rope tied to top handle
  25. I bet you could longline troll neds(Mississippi logic)
