personally, when it come to white bass, i'll catch and release. I do love the fight they give you.

I believe that I have come to the conclusion that if you have to disguise the taste of anything it's not that good to begin with. just my opinion !

I sure like catching wb for the fight but tried a eat them a few times and they taste too fishy for me. tried to cut out the dark "stuff" and have soaked them in soda as I was told to do and still don't like them. any new way to fix them ? i'll try anything-- they are so much fun to catch !!!!

I have hunting land near bear creek and found bear scat near the cabin about 4 weeks ago when cutting the grass. wife brought it to my attention as I was cutting grass. too large for canine so I "GOOGLED" bear scat and the first picture that came up looked exactly the same....

glad to see more people posting on pomme.. I usually put in at bolivar landing as I'm a '' OLD GOAT'' and it is easy to put my boat in because I have bad lungs and the ramp isn't too steep. mopanfisher, keep up the posts !!!

to all those who post on this forum.. we need to get the word out to more pomme fisherman so we can get more info on who and where people are catching fish .. we have many people on Stockon Lake but not too many people posting on Pomme... love this lake but I have a hard time catching fish.. I need all the help I can get.. lol.. I usually put in at the BOLIVAR RAMP.. THANKS

it is really refreshing to see someone think they are a awful fisherman when I'm sure they aren't.. it gets "OLD" seeing posts of people bragging about how good of fisherman they are. I have had Josh at Fair grove marine work on my boats numerous times and never had any problems with his work.. I'm sure all repair centers have a few unhappy clients.. nobody is perfect.. I had work done at a shop that I was more than disappointed and we ready to throw punches.. Josh has been the friendliest person I ever dealt with..just saying

I was at masters the other day and the ramp to the fishing dock was under water but they could have moved the dock and ramp by now but I wouldn't bet on it !!

launched my boat a week ago at cedar ridge and tried to put my money in the metal box but it was so full that people tried to stuff their envelopes in the slot and their were about 8 to 10 lying on top. who is suppose to m-t those darn things. could have went to vegas if I was a crook. lol

if it's legal then it isn't anybodys darn business what you do. some people think just because they do something , you should do it too. good stringer for a good fish fry !!!

I KNOW HOW FUN IT IS TO FIND A PATTERN ON FISH AND CATCH SOME GOOD KEEPERS.. THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IT DOESN'T COME AS OFTEN AS I WOULD LIKE..I GUESS I'M 90% STUPID AND ONLY 10% LUCKY....LOL

I believe dynamite is in order for stockon this year.. the worst year I ever had at catching crappies.. going to Minnesota for a week of fishing..leaving Friday morning.. we do real well up there on a small lake near glenwood... have to catch enough fish in 2 days to feed 14 people and so far for the last 4 years I've done it. up at five and fish most of the day;..life is good!!!
