Same reason some states in the north have a closed season during spawn, then reopen after spawn.

Believe me I keep my share of walleyes since its the only fish I target in beaver lake. I target them from April 1 to October 30. I do well. I just don't fish the spawn nor do I fish them deep when you bring them up with bladder in their mouth. Only keep 18 to 22 inch fish, but will keep over if only one. Everybody has a choice and it's their choice. It's not my business. Like sins I have mine and you have yours. I can not judge you nor you me.?

Just release females walleyes. A 7pound walleye can lay a lot of eggs. I have seen a drop walleyes since I moved hear in 2007. Plus more fishing for them. I personally don't fish for them during spawning time if you do I hope catch and release time.

I'm from the north, and I think that's the best tasting fish fish more so than walleye, and that's all I fish for.

Going home, stop to have a beer, gun in the trunk ammo in glove compartment. Also you do not shot people stealing your stuff that's what insurance is for, only to save lives. They will take your gun as evidence, but if cleared it will be returned. Always be sure of situation. i.e. You walk into a gas station and a guy is betting a guy with a bat, is it a robber beating store keeper or store keeper preventing a robbery, just be sure. -

CCW and always be aware of surroundings and be prepared. Make sure of your safe space. Don't carry sometimes but always. Too many AH out there. I always make sure my wife does to. It's a shame it's come to a point I won't pickup a hitchhiker or help someone without backup -

Buy far largest bluegills were from BS fishing for walleyes. All big black ones. They must have been on beds. Because they keep eating our bait so we ate them. When they get far larger than your hand, eat them.

My wish this year is for all to adopt pets in the shelters and not go to puppy farms. All my pets have been abandoned. That pet commercial about those critters being abused and abandoned tears me up. Some people should not be allowed to have kids nor pets. Thank for taking the dog home. Come on folks give Gods critters a good Christmas.

I lived in CO 30 years and never trout fished. Move to Rogers AR and trout fish during the winter. Something's wrong here.

MDC doesn't want them in TR why in BS. Stocking them in their small portion of BS, yea I bet they stay there. They should have left it to Norfork and Beaver. MDC should have left it the way it was and cooperated. Although I like border wars make life interesting.

Offshore. I have three sets but have not used them here. Only up north walleye fishing. Used them over large flats, to many turns here unless your fishing open water.

Best thing was when we docked and wife jumped out with rod and reel on foot. Fished it out with 1oz spoon. Lucky with rod and reel not with fish. But always good on water with no boats.

After. 2 months of not fishing got out with wife and had a nice day. Many small bass and bull gills and 3 walleyes 18 1/2 to 21. Long day but nice with the queen. BB in 30 ft of water and maybe 3 boats.

They look like they were on a stringer for 2 days. Maybe call it a possession limit. I do keep my share of walleyes but I have never kept a bass nor eaten one. Thin the spots but let the fighters go. Some fish are table fare and some are sport fish. My 2 cents or less.

i would rather destroy those that caused 9/11 than fish. And then get a limit. Maybe get a ticket for over limit.
