  5. received mine today. thanks. nice shiny new stickers for my old toon increased the value by at least $100.
  6. bought my first boat back in the 90's. took it straight to the lake. put it in the water. motor wouldn't start. buddy and i finally figured out the pump bulb was installed backward(by the factory). dealer ran it off his tank, not the boats. next we found water coming in......yup, dealer forgot to put a drain plug in and i didn't check. live and learn. hopefully
  7. excellent read. thanks. i wholeheartedly agree on the beauty of tr. son is looking for a place on table rock. we're gonna "borrow" it quite often wife and i are retired as of last month. we had a little trouble buying a boat but finally found a toon that fit our needs. can't hardly wait to get down there. i've learned a lot here and am looking forward to trying it out.

  16. is there a full size map of the lake that has the names of the rivers/points that are mentioned a lot on here? trying to keep up but getting really lost. sorry for being a noob. google doesn't give names to the rivers/creeks etc. downloaded some of the maps, but not much help. thanks or......have i just not found it yet

  18. if your looking for a place on marathon we really liked this place http://www.cocoplum.com/ good prices, clean. we used a charter i believe the name was seadog charters. our first time fishing salt water. went with a group of about 10 other people. caught a bunch of yellow tail, had a great time. hope this helps. also the barracuda grill had some really great food.

My name is Gary, live near St.Louis. love going to table rock. we like staying at Happy Hollow Resort. been a motorcycle rider for several years. arthritis is making me stop. owned a pontoon several years ago. will be selling the bike and buying another toon. really enjoying this site. learning a lot. glad i found it. should be asking some newby question in the near future, mostly about landmarks. always enjoyed crappie fishing, mostly at mark twain lake. gonna take a while to learn a "new" lake. when i get the toon i'll post a pic so you can wave.
