  1. Thinking Rogers area.
  2. I’m on Bull Shoals but considering a move to NWA thus utilizing Beaver Lake. I lived near Tablerock for decades and chose BSL to escape crowds. I love the beauty of BSL and weekday fishing is gloriously uncrowded but I’m needing more medical care going forward. I would welcome your thoughts and experiences.
  3. I have a shop full of everything to make soft plastic & lead lures. Literally everything. But I have a terminal diagnosis and only have a few months left, give or take. I’m only posting this here because local sale-in-place is my preference and most practical. Price & terms are flexible. If you’re serious about getting everything you need in one place at one time for a fraction of the replacement value please contact me. Unfortunately, if someone doesn’t come check it out with a mind for a friendly deal my kids will have to deal with it.
  4. Anyone else struggling to adjust? I’m finding some SM in the trees but very few LM & Spots.
  5. Thanks for the report. Not much color at lower end
  6. I really appreciate you posting. Thank you and please continue.
  7. Nice Chunks. Thanks for the intel
  8. Jimmy Creek is stained in back and bait has moved up there. 55.2WT.
  9. I scanned a lot today while on a sunny relaxing ride with my wife. Bait balls halfway up the creek arms. The backs are stained and the bait balls are broken up into small groups but not many that far up. Mouth of creeks 52/53. Backs 55/57.
  10. I’m on the lower end of the lake. Where do you put in for mid lake?
  11. Nice! What Damiki bait are you using?
  12. Went out Sunday & today. Both days the afternoon bite has been best. Chasing shad balls that are 45 to 50’ deep in middle of creeks. We did well with all 3 species of bass represented, plus a large drum, a huge striper (20+minutes in a light spinning rig) and one small perch. WT 56
  13. Wondering if the shad have moved up shallow in backs of creeks
  14. That’s a lot of different applications so I suggest swimming a 3” shad or white color grub on a 1/4 ounce head.

    Hair

Do you folks use hair, buck-tail, marabou or preacher type jigs? I ask because making jigs & soft plastics is my winter hobby, but I don’t sell them. Dispersing some samples to other anglers who will actually use them and provide feedback is what I’m seeking. I did this type thing for skirted & Ned jigs for several years and was able to better zero in on what worked best.

WT seemed to drop a bit. Was 58 yesterday. Main lake point, windy but nor dirty water. I have been searching for shad. Sometimes get lucky and find a Wolfpack of SM. Other times one or 2. Found a lot of, what I assume, are bedded fish outside the bushes in the creeks. They would hit hard & spit out the Ned & Shakey worm.

Got into them today using the graph to find shad schools.

I’m sorry to say we had a tough day today, but always hope for better. Seems they are scattered.

    CoAngler

I have been here a year now, though much of my time was getting the house updated. (no luck finding available contractors in the area). I was pleased to find a solid house in Lakeview, with good neighbors, at a fair price, and make a solid gain on the TR house. By last summer housing stock appears to have become scarce and pricey. . I, too, was frustrated with launching difficulties, especially doing it alone in flood stage. I had become spoiled by having my boat on a private dock lift, a brief walk from my place on TR. I was lucky to get a reasonably priced marina slip where I put in a lift. The Marina had “water taxi” pontoon boats every day so it was never an inconvenience. Consensus seems to be that Bull Shoals will continue to be the “holding pen” for the Corp, so repeated extreme water fluctuations are a probability. The big payoffs here are the wonderfully friendly local people and the unspoiled beauty. Y’all (and All Y’all) are most welcome to contact me and arrange to come see and fish the lake. I have spare bedrooms, as I set this place up as summertime “Grandkid Bait” Lol.
  20. Though I enjoy the solitude of being on the water by myself, I do miss having a fishing partner. I would welcome having a co-angler. About me: Retired contractor from St. Louis. I’m planning to fish weekdays mostly. Not keen on freezing temps or hard rain, but do love to be on the water at first light. Not a die-hard dawn to dusk guy. Reasonably experienced recreational bass fisherman, but also interested in other species. Sold my place on Tablerock because of the crowds and got a place 10 minutes from Bull Shoals Marina where I now keep my bass boat. I’m easygoing with a sense of humor. Im just learning the lake and have booked a guide (Del) for once-a-month outing & education. Respectfully, Mike
  21. I will take lots #4 & 5 if still available
  22. Thank you, Sir!
  23. Is this walleye club of which you speak open to new members? If so, how to find it? Thank you.
  24. I haven’t been able to get to the lake due to taking care of my Sweetheart who is battling cancer, but sure do miss reading reports here. What’s up, fella’s?
