  1. seen your picture and was surprised you got less hair than I do plus skinny legs. You put on cargo pant with thos legs you will look like a bobble head.

Anyway I seen your a big thing on snuff and chewing. I really wish for your own good you would forget about that crap. I have a couple friends it got the best of. It is really dangerous and painful. The snuff and tobacco are in a area were if it gets started itvcancjump from ther to anywhere in your body.

Nope. Just keeping the pipes loose enough to talk through it.

  2. I see that he is a certified AO . Certainly showing off in what I bet is his new bass boat and may very well have been his fist one or even first boat. He evidently lacked a great amount of experience in the ways of the living water. I knew when I seem him coming in for his wake jumping shot what was going to happen if he really tried to do it. It just bends my mind how some yuppie from town can can buy and jump into his first boat that might be several hundred HP and drive off with no training.
  3. I have a notion its in the lead itself ether in the mix or the pouring temperature. Whatever it is either a cheap off or a production problem.
  4. I am just completely frustrated. I hope the head breaks off of all of them Wrench. I been looking at these pictures and all this ideal fishing and I cannot even get down to the boat much less do anything after I got there. I am well aware how good the fishing has been in every fibber of my body.
  5. It all comes to being in the right place at the right time doing it the right way.. No matter if it is female ot fish. Knowing those three things is the the difference between a climatic conclusion and not. It ce It certainly helps helps to have good solid infleuential training in either case.
  6. Fast are slow and all speed between have one heck of a lot more variables. When I see post like this a lot of questions come up in my mind instantly. Your talking about the retrieve/ presentation period of your cast is a lot of information to grasp and apply to a given situation. COOSA You do not ever want to get into a boat with me. Retrieves that 3 minutes are longer and spending 1 hr or more plunking around a brush pile are not uncommon. For me here on LOZ
  7. I believe both ways can catch big fish.,but from expronce here on LOZ and in the lakes of SE Mo It seems to me the greats percentage of fish over 5 came from a slower retrieve. I think aging has a lot to do with it.mandcthe habitat they occupy as they age.
  8. I always thought that would be a good evasive move. Bill
  9. it is a large expanse and it has a lot of different structure to it you nd to study the thing to fish it.
  10. That is all true wrench and all that crap going on is why I may very well be in my last year on LOZ
  11. It is no secret it is a the mouth of mill creek cove. The secret is figuring out what and where of it. It used to b a favorite spot for white bass. I live accos mill creek from it.
  12. They will leave you alone as long as you do not act like a drunk.

Color does not matter that much day or night. But if you got it in your head that it does you better believe it because it will foul you up not to. RIght time Right place and right way ( retrieve) is what it is all about.
  14. Part time. Will still keep the house on LOZ. At least for the next few years. Health is not to good getting harder all the time to keep up with a 80 ft lake front lot.
  15. WARRIOR ....Never seen that before. I think someone mentioned something about it to me though. Mine have a 8"trick worm about 14" ( not know really I just tie them do not get very fussy about the tech stuff) above a 3/4 or 1 oz bell sinker I make myself. They are not for everybody are any sort wonder rig. They can get tangled up and wrapped around fish and in general make some messes. Reason I been using them so much this year is I cannot cast. I can get right up to a dock and just drop it straight down the side. Corner or buy a lift. It will shock you how close you can get sometimes.
  16. I do that 10" worm and 1/8 oz thing myself. Have not done it hardly at all this year.
  17. Was it a big one about 1 oz with a big worm on it. Warrior
  18. LlBoth. Actually it is my version of a drop shot. In the evening I like to follow the mid evening shade. Many times the are right on the corners. I love the fishing from about 5pm till about 7pm I think they are just getting into there evening feeding period about that time. And concentrate in those type areas. After the sun comes down towards pick up time it really drops off. I suspect they start ranging out more then. They sit under there. I do not understand it all myself I just know it works a lot of the time this of the year. You do not cast you just go right up to the dock and drop it straight down the edge.
  19. Yeah Paul he is a fine fellow. Thing is he is getting past his prime and does not like to adapt. I been after him about the shot thing for sometime. He beats around the bush but what he is really saying I think your full of BS you old Fart. I have had pretty good success with With it right thru all this heat. Not heavy stringers. But several over 16" and 3 one evening All over 17" Got one 19" also ,that was a fat heavy 4 lber. I have one living under the corner of one of the docks I walk to that is a real hog. Been there for several weeks. I have hooked him 3 times but because of the shoulder I am having a hell of a time getting enough power to really dive the hook home through those big fat plastic worms. Last time I lost him he jumped and he will get your attention. This evening is my final out for awhile for as short as they have been. They are going to replace the knee tomorrow. then we will see about the shoulder. BY the way Paul I will be coming your way to live part of the time in about a month or so. I bought a house on a private 12-13 acre lake near Hermann. I know it is a bit early Wrench but it is the MOON phase changing an d that might be part of the cause you young whipper snapper.
  20. Read it again.. I dropped assuage finger in the wrong place and edited ir.
  21. OH MY GOD WRENCH. What did you just post " best stratagy is to fish the deeper areas. " Next thing you know your going to want to try that trick I want you to see working. That is all I am doing now and today will be the last anything till Incan get down to the neighborhood docks on a walker in about 2-3 weeks. They been whacking a giant trick worm for me down around 20 ft.
  22. well if you have caught bone fish you got some idea what a gar is like. And they do jump but not a lot most times. You can make flies out of unraveled nylon. No hook needed. I have caught them to over 4 1/2 ft. But those 31/2 to 4 are very very common.
  23. BO........ When you start talking about deep fish on LOZ and sink rates your right in my neighborhood. I just do not talk about the what when and where and how anymore in a public forum. I can say this though, that most peole have no idea just how much is involved in just that particular point in a presentations and very few will ever master it. Mostly because they flat outright do not beilieve it. Everything though from the line to what is on the end of it will count You could write a book on this subject. Maybe you should. My weight box has evrything from tiny split shot up to 1 oz home made bell sinkers in there. This past week or so the bigger bass in LOZ were hot. IF you were in the right place at the right time. There is another book for you to write BO.
  24. IF you got them forget about the carp and take on some gar 3- 4 ft long.
  25. I took a almost totally negative attitude to tournament fishing many years ago. I fished in 3 or 4 and decided this stuff is going to cause financial hardships and destroy families if done this way. And I was right. Besides that I got a lot of hard feelings about some of these hustlers like Johnny Morris that think we're all just a gullible bunch. Some of are not. And proud of it.
