WRENCH......I see miss fashion plate has returned. Victorias Secret was not enough now she is in to expensive Sea Food. Where is it all going to end. I used to eat that stuff all the time. You get bored with it sometimes. Except for Red Snapper.

Well it is much easier than that. Kill all the young ones. Those older ones are like humans. At a certain age they are not going to spawn anymore anyway.

I agree there or many problem with small town police (evidence Sunrise Beach) and some county sheriffs.

I have one of those 7ft Micro series rods. I changed the reel off my ugly stik because even that was causing a lot of discomfort. That reel had 10lb braid on it. Braid that small is like sewing thread and I have used it for that. But coming off the end of that willowy rod it would wrap or loop itself around the tip sometime. It was not easy to untangle and about the worst ided I ever had. I still like the 10lb brid for regulr casting of wacky worms nd jigs.

i sure do not know all of them either. But I personnally know a couple. You never seen me post anything negative about the water patrol any other law enforcement individuals. i do not ever make assumtions about total groups. i would have to be a card carrying Republican or Democrat for that sort of foolishness. But I live here in the community and I know what people say. When it starts spanning 3 counties then I say there is something wrong with this individuals behavior and he should not be a officier of the law. That does not mean I cannot find fault with the judgement of some departments and their leadership in rural counties and small towns. There are real problem in some of them. As far as the drowning I know at one time the first afternoon there were no less than 8 patrol boats in the water right in the area. Most of them tied together chatting. That constitutes about 90% of the officiers on that lake at the time. I do not think it took that many to investigate this situation. Further the whole thing was Govenor Nixons fault to begin with. He created the conditions for the rich and privlaged.

Well you might be better buying the rod you like if have faith in the product. It seemed harder to aim than the little short rods. Somedays when I would shoot a wackys with the 7 footer I about thew up my hands and quit in disgust. You never know what that thing might do after that first skip. I have had it skip right in front of the opening, jump up and go all the way through and wind up on the lift somewhere or in the frame and god only knows where else. Its a wild thing I will say that. I think it is due to the extra power. I was doing it last fall because could no longer cast with a shouldef I could hardly use period. I think if I recover I will forgo that in the future.

i think its just another thing they hang a lable on for sales I been shooting docks with a 7 ft light ugly stik before the shoulder finally went out for good. If I live thru this rehab program I will be doing it again. The 7 ft rod can be pretty strong. I shoot wacky worms with mine as well as jigs. You can do it from a higher level. But it might take a bit of practice. But might be better on your legs and back though.

We had a good rain today. It was not as warm as I hoped. I need to take a walk down to one of the local docks. Mine has really been bad since the flood. I lost a lot of brush. It was pulled away by the deep currents I suppose. God lnows where it went.

I would just give it away. That is really nice thought and I like it. In the real world you would never get away with it. Other tackle shops are whatever would burn you out, shoot you, get all your suppliers to cut you off. They do not play fair with people undefcutting them.

I certainly agree with you. But did you ever work with Piercy?? His bad reputation did not come form just this last thing. It started years ago when he was a cop in Laurie. If they jogged there stearing wheel or crossed the centercline he would pull them over and say they were weaving or whatever. Keep in mind this was mostly in the dark and alway from a hidden position. He did this so frequently in three counties that it made people so nervous to the point they would not go there. It resulted in numerous complaints. How would you feel going somewhere and when you leave some patrolman comes out and get up close behind you. I hit the center line with my tires on hwy O occasionally( I am a total Tea Totaler) do not know anyone who hasnt . If you were to drink 2 beers go out and car and drive away you will test high for alcahol. i do not drink period. if not he give you a ticket for whatever reason he alleaged. He had a reputaion that covered three counties. He was harrassing taverns and people for patronizing those places. I am very surprised they accepted him in the the Hwy Patrol. He had a aloft attitude that he believed himself.

bIILL I was not complaining I was concerned. I spent 6 1/2 yra on the flight deck of a carrier. I just was making a small comment in passing. i wish you could have seen the shinanigans. They would take of and land right in boat traffic they would fly in just about anywhere and let people off on there docks. Taxi out and roar down the lake and take off. This on weekends. There was Helicopters as well. One time time one of the planes came around a point by the house real low. above him was one of those helos flying together about 50 ft ft over him. Just made my hair stamd on end. I expected the helo to steal the plane lift. That would have been the end.

BILL--- I was told by someone inside atvthe time of the drowning they only had 8 on the lake. And after the drowning 5 or 6 of them were all sitting tied together watching the dragging. Piercy had a aloft artitude amd I can necer remember seeing him with a smaile on his face. You could ask him a valid question amd youbwould feel like yo were imposing on him. There was alway pressure on the water patrol through the state house about ignoring those "just having fun" What Nixon done was just a slicker way. i suppose it was easy for him. . You see itvwas notvgood enough to to have blind drunks running around all day. They had to let them run boats when in the dark.

Having been here in the area with this Smart butt I can almost discribe what happened. He seen the boys. Knew they more than likely got served in the bar. His job He comes up and says he is going ro make a check. His job The boys in the boat get arrogant Their fault He takes the boy in the boat blows his cool something he was good at. Does not use the on site alcohol tester. Gets further pissed at the unrully bunch bowls his cool because he wants to get him down there to the jail house where he can charge him with all sorts of crap. He is ao mad he cuffs him behind his back throws the ski cest over him in his rage Sets him on the little consol seat. Puts the hammer down and goes flying into into the traffic lanes at a high rate of speed. Then the bouncing from gitting those traffic wakes threw the boy off the seat he stumbled to get his balance and he attempted to avoid going overboard by putting his foot on the gunnel but went . well he did and he drowned After he drowned they have a recording of piercys first words. " I wont lose my job over this will I boss" " Then he tell him I tried to save the S O B" . He also said the kid was trying to jump out of the boat. the spot where he drowned is not really very wide in relation to lake around it. I am sure the wakes ther were tremendous. . Yet in his anger and abd lack of good jugement he tried To go through full blast. Its a wonder they did not both go over. That boat must have been jumping like a jumping beanI feel no sympathy for him. I watch them pull the body out of the water. To me it is the crowning development it the guys carrier attitude. Whos fault was it then????? ALL OF THEM have some guilt in it. From the person who served them drinks to his buddie drunk harrassing to Piecy and piercys attitude and personality. He should never have been wearing the uniform.

It is not laughable at all What the patrol done was take the money to operate the water patrol and put it in the Hwy Patrol. Took the man power off the water and put it on roads. I live here 24 7 now for over 20 years. I know how it was. Your sister and BIL. Did not does not mean anyone else did not. i have been around Piecy. he is a snide, aloft acting, smart mouthed individual. hIs reputation around here was 3 levels lower than whale crap as we used to say in USN.

I think Nixon is in the pocket of the bussiness people around here. Bar owners do not like them they complain they scare off their customers. Used to be they were a strong presents every weekend on the gravois.After Nixon does this you would go weeks without seeing one. It amouts to no more than playing up to bussiness abd letting the dam drunks have here fun.

Had one of those before this one She died from a tumor that exloded. Like to killed us both then 3 months later lost our 15 yr old dog to cancer. We are cat people now solely because they are real easy to take care of. You can leave for a few days and they take total care of themselves. That is important with grandkids 200 miles down the road.
