I am sorry but I do not agree about a burden on big bussiness. I will admit I am very biased. I do not like I do not like the idea of companies being unregulated. Unlike most of you my people my hertiage comes from the coal mines and garment sweat shops. My father went down in the mine at the age of about 6 like his brothers did. Never made a penny. To understand that you got to know what the company store was. My mother was a seamstress woked in sweat shops. They would lock them in the shop summer and winter with no open windows with very little heat and no fans in the summer. Women would pass out and they would be fired for it. But I am not a big unionisf either. They are greedy and high handed as well. I believe in the Japanese way of running corporarions. The employess own the place. Big difference. I am trying to get off this darn Ipad. But my the computer I have been using keeps dropping the Password. Worst communications instrument I have ever used.

Terrierman---- In late 1960 they called Navy Wide for volunteers for a new program they discribe only as by land by sea and by air. They took every one that applied , even me when at that time I had a H 3 pgysical profile for hearing. They said it would improve after I left the flight deck. Well I went and they did not send us to regular UDT training. They put the worst marine DI's on us you can imagine. There whole purpose was to break us one way or other. There was no limitst to the things they would do and also say about tour girlfriend or family members. They iliminated volunteers by the droves every day. About the 3rd week a doctor questioned my H3 profile and they re- excmined it. That was the end for me right there. At that time there was no name for what we volunteered for. What they became was in time the Seals. I will be very homest I am almost certain I would NOT have made it to the end without blowing up. All you had to do was show excessive anger and you were gone right away. I was not far from that. I can understand now the reason for subjected us to such treatment. It takes very special mental atitude to even begin with.

What I do not understand is since all stops up the line pass on the tax to the consumer how are they being hurt. Most business's do not pay taxes on the bussiness. this is esecially triue with small bussiness. I know a few small business owners who have not paid taxes on there business in years. Myself I am all for them. The Tax code in this country is amess to say the least. You will never see it changed though. To much realpoliticalpower to leave it like it is.

Having been Navy and dual Navy Marine Corp for a very short few weeks. I will agree with terrierman + 6 at least. I loved the Navy md would have stayed forever if I could have. I do not think any other service is filled with so much tradition. Navy Jargon is hard to understand sometimes. Some of the best are. The Head.------ Bathroom Smoking lamp is lit or out----- This one is applied to many things it prohibits or authorizes certain activities. It is a historic term from the sailing ships. Bulkhead------ Wall Overhaed------ Cieling Deck-------- Floor but also used to discribe mimium altitude a pilot might fly in a given area. It was for safety . Senator McCain got in trouble more than onece disregarding the Deck. Shellback-------Sailors who have crossed the equator and been properly iniatated into the order. There are no exceptions to this. There are only two ranks for a few days before the crossing Shellback and Pollywog. On the day of the croosing every pollywog will present themselves in a formation on there knees face to the deck like amoslem prayer group. . They then will crawl through garbage shutes have, there face smeared into the Royal Babbys nasty belly, ( the fattest shellback on board) dumped into vats filled with garbage among other thing while crawling on his knees. It is really a revered Navy tradition. None of the following require initation Golden Dragon ------ International date line Golden Shellback------ crossing both of the above at the above Blue Nose------ Artic Circle crossing Royal Order of the Suez------Transit the canal All the crossing are duly recorded in your service record and you are issued cards for each one. Bosan pipe and Bells------- They signify time. They will be blasted throughout the ship through the speaker system Fantail------ Farest rear decks before the stern. Skivy------ Your under

It is bad enpugh at 76 Champ. It is what is behind my attitude. A lot of people below my generation have told me "Well its always been this way'" Like the country is infallable. There seems to be a reluctance to serve in the armed forces as well. That to me is shameful.

That is the is the obtective BO. Just like Germqny was far those guys Hitting the beaches at Normandy. They are well on there way to defeating us with it also.

I believe it was President Isenhower that said the next world war would not be a military conflict. That it would be a economic battle. That is what is going on I believe and most of your big corporations are contributing to it. Their greed and love for money is far greater than their love for there country and do bot really give a darn about their customers. Most Americans got there head stuck in the sand and are about as helpful as the corporations. I hate to have to buy China stuff but in many cases that is becoming the only choice you have.

I shopped and bought things in that liquer store Johnny Morris had 0n a couple of trips to Table Rock in the early 60"s. Never expected it to be what it is today. i still like to burn time sithere roam while my wife is out shopping. I do not do much buying there however. I buy most my stuff now the Tackel Warehouse. They have Lower prices overall, free shipping and no sales tax. I think the sales tax alone is close to 10% now in springfield.

I have always felt if you want to really go after the political circus the best way is through the media. They all understand the media and fear it as well. -

I lobbied up there with the Mo assn of the deaf. After seeing vote trading (they keep count of who owns them what) and vote switching behind doors. You better make a very hard impact on those people. thaf is only thing they understand. -

Dave I believe it is covered. I was in the government for over 40 years. Part of that time in management positions. As to the point you and I are discussing. As I recall they taught us that discrimination in conditions of employment regarding handicapped based solely on the handicap without a attempted at reasonable accommodation was unlawful. My view is it is a condition of employment.Though not directly. So a accommodation would be warranted. If I recall right(after 25 yrs away from this stuff) that is just about what ADA says. Deon fishes a lot in the Gravois. I see him buzzing around here every now and then. So it would seem to me he is certainly capable preforming the duties of a guide. I think you can maybe understand how incrimination can change a persons outlook. I fought battles with it from both sides. I believe it is one of the most destructive things in our society. Would love to see the court argument a good civil rights lawyer would make about this. -

I do not undrstand the Coast Guard not allowing them a license to fuide because of diabetes. Kiving here in rown with them I am going to ask one of there closet friends about this. It soundslike a basis for a suit to me. -
I would like to see that picture. I had tied a bit of hackle on my jig when I use to tie my own back in the day. Because of the way prices are rising I have recently returned to making my own. After a good bit of fumvbeling around.I have decided the below as the way my jigs will be tied. I want to make clear I make them for myself. Not intereted in selling anything.

It's not Gavin. The thing that really intrigued me was that split ring hanging from the what i think was the eye. Do not know why that never dawned on me. If that is what it is it will make a swivel jig out of any plain jig.
-
anywhere from about 20 ft to 30 ft. of water. here and there.
-
So did a small tube tipped with a crppie nibbles fihed 2-3 ft under a bobber. For about 3 days last week there were mny big crppie taken that way.
-
Imteresting to see what appears to me to be a split ring connected to the eye. Makes me think it is like a wobble head type thing. Will have to try that. I never knew there was anyone else made jigs like that but me. They are nice slow sinkers. I have made them that way and with variations. I just started experimenting again after uears of not tying. I never sold them ans was never interested in doing so. The jig design does make for a hice slow sinker. i will see of I cam PM you a picture.

There isjust toooo many people nowof all types. In my wifes grandfathers day they did bot gig they used dinamite. I do not condone that but.I bet they did less damage then the goards that decend on the wter now days.

There you go Trophy------When you get to be my age it is a out all you can do. This next one will be my last I think. I am sure there are all kinds of brish pile set up in those lakes down there, that the COE never authoriaed. Countryred mentioned about setting them up in this toirnament days. You better believe where there is money on the line some tournament fishermen will build piles. I think it goes on at all levels as well. maybe they do not build them but those who do tip them where they are.

I have read studies that say fish can see ultra violet and infrared. So only god amd the fish knows what they actually see as far as color of a lure. What is important is how you feel about it. Confidence will go from your head to the end of tour fishing line. I do not think you meed a bunch of colors. I think when you do you question yourself about having the wrong color on your line. That is aconfidence killer. In srick bait I think on LOZ anyway. size is something often ocerlooked. I have known several instances where small 4 inch stick bait would outfish a 5 inch one in the early spring. Only reason I can see for that is the shad forage is smaller.
