The whole point is ,and believe me I have seen this. All laws are made by congress many of witch are made buy control outside of congress by outside influancep. Each member of congress thrives on money for their individual war chest. Also elaborate vactions and other types of filth handed to them in private by lobbyist. Some lobbyist are family members of setting legislator (wow just how close can you get to to all his cronies) such as Senator Blunt who has most of his family hired out a lobbyist. So you see the Department , agency or whatever has no power to just do as they please. Should they try they would shortly find themselves in a battle royal with the lesilative branch. Only time you might have a law broadened is if the legislative branch leaves the law passed is not unspecific enough. In that case they are passing the buck. LIke saying " you figure out how to apply this we do not want to get involved" But God help the agency for trying to apply what they buck passed if they are challenged. .

I bet your paying twice at least for what it cost me to maintain my dock and sea wall every year. I suppose a lot of these regulation have to do with maintaining the lake in prestige condition. That will not be possible over time same as LOZ. Your all blaming the Corp and the goverment. One individual said in so many word that all the employees were dunces. When you say goverment just remember there are three independent branches executive legislative and judisal. As far as I am concerned the lesilative branch is where most of the garbage on the pile comes from. A lot of it comes in the form of bills and the admenments to them. Also a lot of trash come in the form of what is called a Omnibus Reconcillation Act this is when the take all the stuff they newer acted on during the year and throw it together as one bill and pas it into law. Now since most members of congress have something of interest to the, in there you can bet it will pass. I have personnally seen a few of these. They are thousands of pages long and will dwarf most telephone books. I do not believe in them and regard them as dangerous to me as a citizen. So really the dunces are in congress. Everybody else down the line in follows the law in goverment that us dunces sent the dunces to congress to make

It is really easy to learn. Just stand in thr back yard and practice shooting under a chair. My advice though is not to branch out to far to shooting other stuff. I tried that with wacky worms and they are a control nightmare they skip they skip way to much ,they, whey might jump instead and might end up anywhere in the framing of the dock.

No forum would apply to me being on LOZ. But from what I have read on this thread I am real happy about it. Would seem the corp has grossly overstepped their bounds. Have to wonder can you do work on your own dock such as reenforcement welding etc. Mine here is supposed by cross bracing both below the dock and thru the cieling. All of it is 2 " 1/4" angles as a minimum. I did 90% of the welding myself. Would they allow you to do that down there. I did not need a permit either. In the worst conditions my dock does not wobble or wiggle in any manner. It moves as a solid unit. Does the corp dictate to you your choice of a lift.? Mine is a box type lift that lock against the lift when it is raised. Another thing that greatly helps in dock stabilization. But you need to have a higher rate lift than what the boat is. As a example my 18 1/2 ft Targa is kept on a 6000 lb lift. Takes it awhile to get down but it's worth the time for the added stabilization.

That is true. You can catch nice fish here on LOZ on in the worst boat traffic days if you want to risk life and limb. At a younger age I have been out in my big deep targa when the wakes so bad they would throw that boat up into a 45 degree angle or better. Yet My son and eye caught 8-9 keepers over a sharp drop off on slow sinking plastic worms. Fish just kept rising to the feed boat wakes or what have you. It s a very dangerous thing to do in this lake and something I avoid anymore. Well AL I will tell you Leeburg was like our second home. From Onandaga all the way up to birds nest was my stomping grounds. We had been away from it for better than 20 yrs. We returned to attend a funeral of a friend down there that died. Being there I just had to go down and look at the river at Onadaga. Let me tell you it made me phycally sick to see all the commercial crap and crowds. I swore then I would never go back. To me all they have done is rape Mother Nature.

The thing about flood plains is you have to know where they are like 100 yr 1000 yr. The problem here is your going to have to pay flood insurance that is very costly according to the flood plain map and not what you see. Moral of the story is check the flood plain map if your going to build or have someone explain where your planning to build on the map.

They have had a couple of boats wind up on the golf green near the toll bridge a couple times. And if You recall wrench there was a guy in the old bass in bandits ran into that island there at the mouth of buck creek going full blast in a bass boat and full of beer at night. In that later case it amazes me they were not both killed. You remember that.

i have a friend that was vice commander of the athere patrol at one time bouys cause one heck f a lot of trouble for the patrol becuase they had to mange the whole program. They had to issue the permits and there were thousands of them no longer being used so on and so forth. I think this idea might well have some value. I no longer have a bouy. But i think there needs to be strick inforcement of the law. Like on the road where cops are setting up sped traps. Sane thin could be done on the water. Set back somewhere and just watch for them. The patrol men's word is always the rule. And yes most bouys are misplaced.

if any of this turns out true it will have to be the worst boating disaster ever on LOZ. They reported they have multiple victims but no idea how many some reports were from 4 - 8 and including a child. Then last evening there was two guys from Lousiana killed when they flipped going thru the finish line of the shootout. Sound to me like they were playing around since they were not entered in the compition that started today. LOoks like we're off to some start

YOU CAN but it is like any other fishing the weekends are disaster in many areas. This coming weekend is Shootout it might be exceptionally bad. Drop shot bite has backed off. I got only 2 keepers ( both between 15-16 inches) in my 2 hour run this evening and I am almost certain both were reaction bites. But since I currently cannot cast I will continue use it. I think it is not a bad reaction bait anyway when the bass are not in the mood to play with any of our toys as .they currently seem to be in my area anyway.

There is a reason for that they are vertually blind and deaf. They sure feel vibrations in the ground though. One of the ways they trap them is buy placing long board in a V and locating the trap at the end of it. Only tried it a couple times then seen a Dillon climb up a step and lost all faith in it. They carry a lot of disease. Leprosy being fairly common in them. When I set up to shot one Turn on the yard lights. A constant light does not seem to bother them but flash a flashlight on them and you will see they are a pretty fast critter.

IF they are out in the daylight. Rarely does that happen they do the majority of there damage in the dark. I just put out a game a camera to time when they are coming through ( they are very punctual ) then just shoot them with a 410 slug.

Yeah so did I. LIved there over 20 yrs ago in one of the first subdivisions on O Fallon rd. Name of it is Saddle Brook. There certainly has Been no improvement over the years. The attitudes of people are much more isolated. You see a lot more aggressive driving than before.

I agree with this, I also agree that we have reached past the point of no return. Social groups, religious groups and racial groups all hating one another. All these groups do not want to resist trying to get along and understand one another. The division is very great. I can see no winners in this current national election that will not enrage the other side to arms. Our enemies outside this country know that. You can bet if there is even a spark of a revolt our enmies outside will be Johnny on the spot to support anyway they can. So yes you better be real afraid for the future.
