  1. The big one I found was 2 years ago over in Clinton, MO on some private strip pitt ground. But all this year so far have been in osage river and Missouri river bottoms. I won't even start checking my spots in the hills till they are bout done it the bottoms. I have one really good spot in the woods behind my house that usually produces anywhere from 60 to 80 but it is always very late in the season
  2. This year for Christmas my mom has paid before a vacation for me both my brothers and our families to go to Gulf Shores Alabama. My youngest brother and I will be taking our Kayaks with us and hopes to get away for one day to do some red fishing. Was just wondering if anyone could point me in a direction down there or some tips for redfish would be great. We are trying to stay away from using a guy would like to just do it on our own. Our past Adventures of going out of state and trying to catch that we don't normally fish 4 haven't panned out very well for us. Nothing more frustrating fan getting on water that is different than what you're used to and just feeling completely out of your element. I haven't done a whole lot of research on the subject yet this is kind of my starting point but I will be researching over the next couple of days. We will be leaving on May 12th. Any General locations to start with or any types of tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
  3. I don't remember if I've ever posted this here before. But here is one I found two years ago. Too bad it was a little dried up would have loved to have found it a couple days earlier
  4. I went back out Saturday and Sunday and found another 152. They ate starting to get bigger
  5. I found 13 yesterday in river bottoms. I'm also in central Missouri. Fairly decent size too. Tried to post pic but keep getting an upload error
  6. So thumbing through this thread and rhis advertisement for this hoodie popped up. I'm not sure why but I want it
  7. Thanks man I will pass on the information. I knew you would be the one to chime in on this I appreciate it
  8. A buddy asked me to post this. How to get out the pivot pin to replace the yoke tube on a mini Kota edge 70
  9. I caught my PB smallmouth directly on top of that spring.....20.5" We were taking out at boilingsprings and it was my last cast on a 3 day trip.

One heck of a double hook up there!
  12. Most of what I have to say on the subject has already been said so I will go to "time of day" which hasn't been discussed much here. I have personally never had much luck smallie fishing topwaters early in the morning. As a matter of fact I don't really even go early anymore because it just seems like i don't do well. Its possible this could be because i dont have real good smallie water close to me so im not fishing great water when i do go early. And its hard for me to get to good smallie water early without leaving earlier than i like. I usually have to drive a couple hours or more. Now afternoon is a different story. My favorite time for topwaters smallmouth is by far the dead of summer in the middle of the day. THE HOTTER THE BETTER. When it gets into the upper 90s or 100 you can bet if I'm not working im headed south! It just seems to me that when the water gets low, And the temps get hot, the smallies get MEAN & AGGRESSIVE
  13. Once I have the footage I have no problem sitting down at night and editing. (I'm not great at it but I'm not terrible either.) It's actually getting the fishing footage that I don't like doing. It's a chore from a yak for sure. I always plan on it but on be I'm on the water I just wanna fish!😊

  15. Cool video..... I wish I had your motivation when it comes to making these videos. I do a lot of dirt bike racing and have made quite a few cool videos but it's so much easier getting good bike footage to edit. It seems like doing fishing videos takes a lot of my time away from actually fishing. On a sidenote.....Man I need to learn to fly fish! Catching those carp on the fly looks like a blast and I Iive in a perfect location for it. I'm only a few miles from the Missouri river and lots of small sloughs. More carp than I can handle and I never fish for them.
  16. Well I got back out and the water was pretty much done but I did manage to haul in one last fish!
  17. That's the website I looked at also. And I also thought stripers. I just thought maybe some guys that fish for them alot could share how they tell them apart easily. Just like I can pick up a largemouth or a spot and immediately tell the difference but some people cant. I was wondering how that is with these white things
  18. It would be great if someone could point out differences to me between whites, hybrids, and strippers. I'm not even 100% sure what I'm catching.
  19. The water was falling fast but I did manage to get one good day in before it fell too much.
  20. Nothing would make me happier trust me....its only a matter of time before I accidentally hang myself mowing under it.... daughter likes it though
  21. Guess i forgot to put that in. $1400 firm
  22. Can't get anymore pics to upload for some reason. If interested call or text 573 680 5614 for more pics
  23. I have a 2017 Jackson Coosa HD for sale. The color is GI Jackson. I bought it at the end of last year. Almost all use has been on rivers so it has some river rash on the bottom but overall I would say this boat is in great shape. I'm only selling to buy a Big Tuna so I can take my 4 Yr old daughter with me. The center console is taken out in the picture but I do have it. The only thing I don't have is the "waterproof" bag that was always full of water that goes on back of the seat. $1400
  24. Nice Pigs!
