  1. Was just told the G2's don't have a throttle cable.
  2. I got a new, to me, boat. It has a hot foot. I hate it. Thinking about taking it out when I take the talons off. Will I eventually get used to it? Cause I'm well on my way to the old dog and new tricks thing.
  3. To be fair, they'll find a bird too.
  4. All I'd have to do is shoot 1 squirrel...and birds would be completely forgotten.
  5. Figured I'd list them here for a few days and if they don't sell expand my reach. Didn't know UPS would do that. Thanks for the info.
  6. 3rd picture under the tree. Took it off to clean it, and forgot to put it on for pics...or did I forget?
  7. Gently used 2003 Lowe 180W with 90 hp Yamaha. Great motor. Newer Garmin 5" graphs. I bought boat 3-4 years ago from an older fella in Osawatamie, KS, he didn't use it much, and I haven't used it a lot since I've had it. Seats and carpet in very good shape, everything works as it should. Wrench put a Fortrex on it a few months ago, but I took it off and put original troller back on, Minn Kota 65 lb. Fortrex was way too big for the boat. Started raining when I took pics. Currently located in Pittsburg, MO $7500
  8. I can vouch for toothpaste.
  9. For Sale. 2 Minn Kota Talon BT 10's, Includes Talon BT Foot switch, sorry no pic, Talon tilt brackets. The boat is a 2017, has approx 50 hours use and these Talons were dealer installed new. $2750 I will not ship and would prefer a qualified shop take them off. Talons are in Pittsburg, MO, would be willing to travel LO to Springfield area.
  10. I don't know...Hank Parker seems like a pretty straight up guy. I'm going with he's a better fisherman.
  11. I travel that route going back and forth to Pomme. I'll often see guys running jugs and trotlines on the east side of the Deepwater Bridge, and guys crappie fishing the trees on the west side. If you value your lower unit, looks like a place you better know where you're going.
  12. Thanks for replies. Additionally, this is on a painted aluminum hull that I do not want to damage paint. I prefer to damage my paint while fishing.
  13. I'm sure it's been discussed before...but whats best way to remove old number on aluminum hull? Heat, peel, goo gone?
  14. Putted around on the Lindley side last Saturday. Caught 8, they were scattered from 5' to 12'. Caught a few off brush piles a few in the channel around bait, very scattered, no real pattern. Good news is the keeper to short ratio much better this year. Water dropping 7 to 8" per day, bet fishing gets better when lake stabilizes. Forecast says outflow will be reduced to 500 over next couple of days. Water clarity 2-3', jigs, glow/white caught the most.
  15. Didja get the motor fixed? I'm bored.
  16. That does help. Thank you.
  17. Ballpark, what would 2 2018 10' Talons, that came off a boat with 100 hours, be worth?
  18. Was that a scream....no, must have been the howling wind...the plot thickens.
  19. You got a pretty good report an hour ago.
  20. As far as catfish I have best luck with fresh cut shad or bluegill on a CAROLINA rig. Catching bait is half the fun. If you have a couple of rods out and no action for 30 minutes, move.
  21. The above statements are contradictory.😀
  22. I love these fix it threads, especially when it takes a long time to figure it out. It's like my daily soap opera. Would really increase traffic on the sight if you guys could mix in some cheatin, lying, and sex.
  23. I think I have a fun and interesting life. It pales in comparison...
  24. Hey, turn it back on. Saw the change in forecast yesterday, guess there's a slug of water going down the MO, and Truman catching a bunch too. Hopefully y'all can open er up again next week.
  25. and in other news... Basscat fan has a sweet Puma for sale. I'm sure someone on here would post a pic for him if he's unable. Nice boat pics are cool.
