  1. Yeah hk jesters thats how it goes. I have had good times down there in the day but the noght was so quiet and we were the only people it felt like. Two guys fished outlet one so we didnt get to try up that way. Ill be going again before october ends hopefully. Good luck split g2 and we look forward to your report.
  2. Well phil They didnt run any water monday and this seemed to close their mouths. I had several nice fish on scuds at around 4am and caught seven total during the night. Broke off aboit a four pound brown as i decided to switch to scud duo rig using seven x on dropper. Gave it a good fight before watching the fish surface and snap the leader. Slow night and morning for most people. Saw one guys do ok on green midge pupa swinging it in the shallows across fro outlet three. Slow hope to get out when it cools a little more.
  3. Headed down to the dam tonight. Throwing some big ugly stuff and the go toos. post a report when i get home. Taking the go pro and camera hopefully one will turn out.

  5. Hank pattersons videos are freaking hilarious. . . Seriously though look up tiger trout. Careful they claw and bite
  6. Marked like a tiger troUt. Brook trout \brown trout hybrid. But like before mentioned the genetics of hatchery trout are far from normal. Probably justa weird rainbow.
  7. After seeing your last two posts ive tied up some sculpins. I tied them in sculpin and in olive.

  10. Let me know when youre coming down and ill try to jpin yoi

  11. Reviving this thread as the trip is next week. Anyone been down? I know russell doughty posted a nice brown from night. Going to throw leeches and some big ugly stuff. Bringing buggers too.
  12. no pickerel but tons of suckers and several varieties of minnows. A few blue gill here and there. Mostly trout. Something on a side note ive noticed; if you see trout schooling with the suckers cast to the school or ahead of it and you will get trout to hit. I think the suckers must be like natures shufflers lol.
  13. Love it down there
  14. What size leech were you throwing and how were you fishing it if you dont mind me askin? Im taking a guy next tuesday over night.
  15. Crane creek sir.
  16. Another swell day at my favorite little trout creek! Couldn't get the video to load right. hope the pictures are good. The one has a good shot of the muddler in his mouth. He came out of a deep spot up into the riffle and straight out of the water with the fly. Love it
  17. Got pictures and a small amount of video but timing acatc. And filming solo sucks. Got a buddy with a gopro may take him with me next time. Ill put up what i got tomorrow
  18. Dang thats a biggun!
  19. Is that in centimeters?
  20. I may be in on this. Never done it before but sounds like fun. Like the deer hair idea. Have a thought simple but effective. Details would be needed.
  21. Headed down at sunup tomorrow. Got a special place in mind. Taking the video camera for a change probably give a tutorial on how to fish big buggy nymphs lol
  22. Bryan crane is an awesome place so im glad you are getting out there. I fish it quite a bit and th. Trestlr bridge is accessed by parking at the ball fields and walking down the tracks toward down stream. Take path to the left and head dowb stream. remember stealth is super important and try to stayout of the water if at all possible. the next quarter mile has three great spots for smaller fish and a couple deep spots. Also ditch the indicator its better to let it sink Down to botyom and roll along. Remember that just because it looks like there are no fish doesnt meanbthey arent there. Weighted bh prince and twelve long buggers in olive work well. For dries beetle and elk hair cadis work good as do adams and humptys. Make seveal casts and if you dont get a fish move on. Thw farther you walk the better it gets. That includes the lower access. good luck and if you see a white stepside silverado say hi.
  23. during olliefest last year he caught some. I think we all did ...
  24. You gotta try crane its a great place and very quiet.
