    You would think that they could recycle the trout carcasses for fertilizer or fis food for other hatcheries like Chesapeake and such. We are really wasteful as a society and we should really get with the program.

    Frenchie is my favorite nymph that is not a scud. . . Scuds tied in various color threads and dubbing can bea game changer. I have had days where a tan scuds just gets it done and it seems like your the only one catching... then days where the tan isn't working and the are hammering gray with a red head. Same on frenchie red hot spot vs orange... I think it's more important in high pressure water to vary it just a bit from the normal shop flies. The buggies the better on free stones and wild creeks but parks and tailwaters you have to get creative.

    In my experience half unit or less is manageable on foot pretty well a full unit and it gets interesting... any more than this and you are pretty limited

    I think attention to trout parks takes pressure of pristine quality spots so they serve a purpose. Will say the parks were a lot better fifteen plus yeas ago. Crane Creek and some of the blue ribbon areas don't get a lot of traffic and I really value that

    I think som of rinellas stuff on hunting is great and fishing on the b side with cermele is good but their fishing articles are pedantic at times as well as too trendy.
