I don't know about boat parking and plug in's however the is a place just next doore to EAGLE ROCK BOAT DOCK. It is on the north side of the highway.I have seen boats there so I'd presume they have plug in's. I don't know the name of the place, sorry. They are clean but not luxurious by a looooonnnnnng stretch. Seems like the name might be EAGLES NEST but can't swear to it but I can swear good. Hope that helps.

That is what this time of the year is about BUT, in my opinion that is what good sportsman do. We have to keep showing the young what it's like to be outside and enjoying nature. I live in the city but I don't stay inside unless it's lousy weather conditions. I would rather be outside fishing, hunting or anything else. I don't need the tackle nor do I know anyone who needs it. Someone is going to be a happy person. Jim, you are a good man.

Step-son and I have a COE approved boatslip for me to put boat in. I know that the PP taxes are a whole lot cheaper in Barry County than they are in Johnson County Kansas. The boat will most likely stay on Table Rock 99% of the time. I am not trying to cheat the county or state out of any money. In Kansas i would not have to license the trailer but I will Missouri. I do most of my fishing on the Rock or close to it. I don't see a need to license it in Kansas and will leave it at the Rock all the time. I am sorry if any of you think that I am trying to cheat the government because that's not what I have in my mind. Fullmoon, I would like to say thank you for your time served in the service, in fact I want to tell EVERY VETERAN THANK YOU. If it was not for you men and women we might not be able to do the things that we want to do.

Thanks for the fast responses. Fishinwrench--heard it is cheaper in Mo. I will call BARRY COUNTY tomorrow and see what I have to do to get it legal. You folks here are very helpful to everyone who asks questions, however silly they are. I don't ask many questions but I do pay attention, I don't take the good spots off of here. I take the info, throw it in the pot, stir it up and don't catch anything. But I have a heck of a good time. Just getting away from the rat race is all I can ask for. Where do I have to go to get my boat registered? I live in Olathe Kansas but want to register my boat in Missouri, Barry County to be exact. Step-son has a house in Eagle Rock. I don't get down there during the week to get with a Mo. Water Patrol. I don't know if they have to inspect it or what. The boat and trailer is registered in Mo. I have titles for the boat, trailer, outboard and trolling motor.

My Dad used to take me fishing all the time when I was your sons age, Bull Shoals, Beaver Lake, Taneycomo, to name a few of the places around Kansas City. We used to go to Canada for vacations. Went fishing there catching fish. I don't know when Mom & Dad started talking about building a house on Table Rock Lake, but we built a house. Dad & Mom got a away from the rat race of Kansas City. They lived there, had a lake front home that the lived in for 35 years. I digress, Take him fishing every chance youcan andhe wants to go. I enjoyed the time I had with my Dad. I would like to have had more time with him because I enjoyed the time I had with him. We would catch LMB, White Bass, Small Mouth, Crappie, Walleye, Rainbow Trout, Northern Pike and probably more. I would go vist Mom and Dad, he say going fishing in the morning? What time are we going? We could talk about anything under the sun. Take your Son fishing every chance you can but don't ignore the girls in the house. You both will be having a good and memorable time of your lives.
