  2. I've only had leaky roof's cyser, I believe they have a blackberry mead as well.
  3. I like braid for topwater, due to the lack of strecth, and it floats. I feel like i get a better hookset on a long cast with braid
  4. got this recipe from my cousin that was in the navy. ingrediants: 1lb bacon 1lb shredded cheddar cheese 1 can diced green chiles 1 1/2 cups of mayo 2 cans of biscuts fry bacon until it is crispy, chop into small pieces, mix with cheese, chiles and mayo. take biscut dough, flatten it out and place in a muffin pan, stuff biscut dough with bacon, cheese, chiles, and mayo mix. place in 350 degree oven for 10-15 min. NOTE: If you wife has a mini muffin pan, and will let you use it, you can make a lot of these at one time, they go over very well at parties and bbq's
  5. I am wanting to try grilled asparagus, never done it before , would i need to blanch it first?
  6. crown valley is out of st. genevive, and piney river is out of bucyrus,mo. crown valley also has a pumpkin cider they put out last fall. another good one to try if you can find it is LEAKY ROOF MEADERY out of buffalo,mo
  7. If you like ciders, you need to try CROWN VALLEY. The strawberry cider and blackberry cider are amazing. the strawberry is really good mixed with guniness as a stout & cider, it is also really good mixed with piney river brewing- black walnut wheat

  11. yes a tourist trap, but one the largest employers in SWMO. yes i do work there, no its not a mom-n-pop shop like it once was
  12. No he doesn't make me pay for coffee. everybody knocks on johnny morris and bass pro, but if you remember johnny started bass pro buy selling tackle out of a liquor store, so he was a "little guy once", just smart business decisions made bps what it is now.

  16. well I buy alot of stuff from bps because of the discount i get. i also buy stuff from other " local" shops around town.

  23. I always go hiking in that area, it is one of my favorite spots PERIOD. glad to hear it has some fishing holes.
