  6. It all comes down to personal preference. half of the guys you talk to wont use anything but lowrance, and the other half wont use anything but hummingbird. the key is finding one that suits your needs, and easy to operate.
  7. feather and fin is right, once a new model comes out, the previous model is pretty much obsolete, doesnt mean it doesnt work. for the most part the marine industry is driven by the LATEST AND GREATEST.

  9. The esiest way to tell the difference from a spot vs. largemouth for me is to feel the tongue, largemouth have a smooth tongue, where spots have a rough patch
  10. i just wonder how good some of the local pro tournament fisherman would do if you took away their big graphs, and big boats.

  14. Maybe a new tournament trail is in order " GOOD OLE BOYS " tournament series. RULES: no power poles!!!!, no GRAPHS THAT ARE BIGGER THAN MY TV!!, AND YOU DONT NEED A $50,000 BOAT TO COMPETE.
  15. USA BASSIN has tournaments on stockton once a month from now until until july. $25.00 membership fee and $50.00 entry fee per tournament. Not a bad deal if you just wanna fish a tournament, on a budget. i personally cannot afford a $150 tournament fee, plus fuel in the truck and boat
