  1. In my honest opinion I've seen it go both ways. I've caught fish on days of east wind and then I've been skunked. Most generally it means a cold front has hit. When I face east wind usually I switch to a slower presentation. Often you can find fish shallow or find fish tight to cover. Just my 2 cents
  2. Sunday
  3. Our tourney 12.5 lbs won with 5 fish. 2nd wasn't far behind. We ended third with 3 fish a little under 6lbs
  4. Very slow bite today. Managed 2 quick keepers in the first hour. One on crank bait one on jig. Then went dry tell around noon and managed 1 more keeper. Bites were few and far between. 6 total fish. Fish came on chunk rock banks. Really looking forward to things heating up. Fished 39 area.
  5. Put in at 7 at mutton this morning and started fishing points. Picked up a few short largemouth on black and blue jigs. What temp low 50's. Then headed up the creeks to find warmer water. Bite escalated as the day progressed. Caught the majority of our fish on crank baits in 7-12 fow. We noticed a pattern of catching fish on the larger rocks. Also caught fish on jerk baits, rattle traps, and 1 on a plastic crawdad. Ended up catching around 20 bass. Only five were keepers though. No big fish, best was maybe 2 1/2 lber
  6. Has a good stain to it maybe 1.5 to 2 ft vis. Water temp was 54.5
  7. You still need a partner for the morning?
  8. Ok thanks for clearing things up
  9. Do they normally get this big? The fish also had an awful stench.
  10. Sorry trying to upload picture.
  11. What is this?
  12. I am fishing in a crappie tourney at Stockton this Saturday. I am having trouble with my aerators. I primarily fish for bass and just leave my pump running bringing in fresh water to the fish. I was just curious if I will be able to keep crappie alive doing this since I know crappie are a little more finicky. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
