Never Had the Flu shot and can hardly ever remember having it.. Maybe once where I had a fever and ached... OK, ......So snow peas are a different "camouflaged" product, they dont really count in my mind! They dont really have any "peas" in the pod!!!! they are so small compared to the shell!! I feed these to Stormy (Our Parrot) every day! I can eat those cause "they aint peas in my mind" My Mind being the optimal problem here !

Yes for the most part, However I'm a bit grown up now I'll tolerate them to a certain extent.... Shoot, I'd eat the posterior out of a skunk if I had too without much of a complaint given certain circumstances. But there is some deep psychological response in me that happens when I see them, or hear their name. It must have been the casseroles Mom use to make... You know, the ones with the hotdogs cut and placed around the edge of the Dish!....Not my favorite dinner but mom Bless her heart made it.... so I ate it...(I just deposited those little green pills in the tupperware cup) My Grandfather had a produce farm and I worked on a 240 acre produce farm all through HS. Fresh from the garden was fine/tolerable...... as soon as you cook it I was done..... I will tolerate them now...but dont like them nor do I seek them out... I know its weird seeing how green is my favorite color and for all intents and purposes Corn is the same consistency, just yellow and squishy insides.. But I love me some corn!!! Go figure. Still... there would be wrasltin match if you were to force me to have pea soup

I hate peas too!!!! Dad use to make me stay at the table till I finished my peas... He'd have his smoke (King Kool's) and then go to the living room... I'd wait for him to leave the table and then volunteer to clean the table ... Mom would tell me "sure!!!! but you are still eating those peas!". SO...... When she wasn't looking I'd drop the peas into my Milk cup......Tupperware (Tall and opaque) ....She never knew...... And that's why; on Pea's night I would only drink my milk 2" from the bottom of the glass.. I loved my milk..... but not as much as I hated my peas.

That dont look like the freezer isle I would not buy them either.

Never cooked them myself but they are top of my list...one day I'll harvest my own in the Gulf at the outlet of the Crystal River. Could you prepare them like Ceviche? then just sear them for 30 seconds a side? Same for Shrimp????

I volunteered (broke the rules...Never First , Never Last and Never Volunteer) Went to Walmart to pick our Grocery list cause I was going to be out anyway picking up fencing. Delivery boy (curb side pickup at Walmart) broke protocol and took a booze bottle (My Booze Bottle) out of building with the security cap on... I was just reliving the experience for everyone. I did finally get that security cap off with some bolt cutters.

Not cracked .. being a smart alleck... We're happily married. Just injecting some levity and made a long winded story about my liquid dinner!

I think we all ought to be thankful for lessons learned, at least here in flyover country... Hoarding (taking more than you need) has been blunted... not by the hoards mind U....but by The Management of Walmart, Hyvee, etc. stipulating you can only order so much..... (1 sometimes 2) of the critical stuff. That helps everyone... Glad you got some supplies!!!! Anywho...Thats smart thinking! It stops the fist fights and isle brawls for the most part. Told him I was expecting a hiatus from stipulations, due to the fact that there are certain current circumstances that could require some canning of produce this fall and the deer are pretty heavy... and that I willl address all complaints! Anyway I'm sorry .. this is a food thread.. My Dinner is a Screwdriver (vitamin C ya know) It was an ordeal to make... It required a straight screw driver (NO KIDDING) idiots at Walmart left the Audio lock on my vodka....BOTH BOTTLES! The ScrewDriver (TOOL) was a failure but it was IRONIC that I had to resort to that to make it! It was strange hearing over the loud speaker about a liquor violation of some sort... I vaguely remember it mentioned a teen absconding with booty of some sort... She was serious in tone but I must have been really focused on departing the lot. (never really sunk in till later)... She prolly was some Security Guard in the booth looking at a monitor and had her big moment....... and therefore alerted the world that a "booze sensor" (Muster all the Rohirim), was rung from the westfold....all because some cashier missed this step because she was prolly a littkle wigged out or exhausted or both and not paying attention. So the poor Walmart employee doing his job, triggered the alert delivering me my Wife's Grocery list and Vodka (I did not figure any of this out until I was I was in the death throws with the Audio Lock trying to make dinner)... Funny thing is He did not care or give it a thought, I didnt care either.. just wanted out of the Walmart parking lot Dinner was a success... I'd show a Pic but the Glass is empty... BRB...
