Senate Bill 56 Substitute Addresses Non-Resident Permits
Claybuster replied to Phil Lilley's topic in Conservation Issues
If these said "out - of - staters" can afford 75 acres of Missouri land.......... Then they can surely afford an out of state permit! Nuff said -
Finally, some common sense! Getting back in line sir;-)

Here we go again<;}}}}}}}}<< I actually believe in the separate stringer rule, I keeps my wife from catchin my limit!!!

Wait? What? Haters? Is that really a word?
-
Heck yea, in the heat:-) It was 97 degrees in the shade on opening day of dove season:-) And not trying to be hostile, just calling a spade a spade
-
The dove hunting "roust" wasn't just a one agent one time thing, I try to obey the letter of the law and have no problem at all showing my compliance. Either before the hunt or after the hunt, not in the heat of the chase! And I still know a couple of guys who hunt deer with a bow and arrow...... Just like in the old days! Peace
-
The chief has spoken......... Deer hunters ARE more valuable than dove hunters! In the name of tourism? In the name of $$$$?

It's a problem when a Missouri resident can't get into the duck park "four rivers" because all of the out of staters won the draw:( It's a problem when I spend my time, effort, money scouting for a good dove shoot only to have an MDC officer walk across the field that I am hunting" right in the prime shooting " to check my MULTIPLE licenses that I've had to purchase. Don't misunderstand my post, there are a lot of things that the MDC has done right! Point is that sometimes you just can't see the forest, because all the trees are in the way! Oh and hey RONDO,,,,,, I think those quail were migratory quail:):) Peace

Oh lord, don't get me started! I've resorted to hiring a "Fishing Attourney":):)

If You Think The Threat To Conservation Isn't Real...

Justin, you may have misunderstood my rant! And you seem to be a well spoken authority! Can you remember when FALL CREEK trout dock was a CAMPGROUND ? I do, and I liked it better as a campground! Tourism? Local restaurants ? Have you seen glorious Branson lately? I do realize that the corp of engineers is not "affiliated" with MDC and I don't mind paying my part, but GEEZ, how many times do I have to pay to go fishing in my home state? How many different "tags" do I have to buy to hunt in my home state? My point is....... Seems to me that if things were Simplified there would be a lot less wasteful SPENDING! COMMON SENSE is what my parents were trying to teach in the great outdoors! -

And now...... Gotta get back to filling out my personal property assessment list so that I can accurately " pay the man, yet again" Peace & love :-) -

1) I don't mind paying my part to participate in outdoor sports! Although it has become far more complicated than just buying a hunting/fishing combo that was hand printed with a real INK pen! 2) in the big scheme "scam" of things $97 million is a h@ll of a lot of money! It would almost pay off my mortgage:) 3) who really benefits from all of those beautiful TROUT swimming in lake taneycomo ? No trout no fisherman staying at the local resorts! And who actually paid for them? I have a $7 trout stamp that I never had to buy when I was a kid! Hmmmm.... 4) and while I'm at it,,,,,,, don't ever,,,,,,, and I mean never forget to buy a boat ramp pass on a corp of engineers lake!!!! Unless you want to be officially deemed a criminal;-( 5) obviously there has to be some funding to operate any government agency, but WOW,,,,,, when does common sense come into play????? -
-
I have officially paid my debt to society:( got off easy for good behavior:)
-
Hmmmm,,,,,,, so if my truck is licensed in clay county is it illegal to drive it on HICKORY Co roads,,,,,?
-
So where would a guy purchase one of them there ascots???
-
Sorry, I forgot to mention that Smithville lake is operated by "clay county" but owned by the Corp of engineers!!! My Smithville pass doesn't look like the lovely C.O.E pass that I had to purchase....... Hmmmm,,,,, I r so confused <)))))< We did manage to catch a few fish and had a fine day of tubing with the kids, so with that said pomme is still a great lake.

Got a little present while we were out having some family fun........Lightfoot ramp was a mess to say the least !!! Parking lot full..... Two slots of the ramp unusable....... Now I'd like to take a poll....... If a person owns an annual pass to one corp of engineers lake "Smithville" shouldn't this said pass be good for any corp of engineers lake??? Park ranger Jared says "NO" Now given the amount of $$$$ that most boaters have invested in equipment, boat, truck, licensing, fuel, maintenance........ Do you think a 3$ day pass is going to deter a person from using a boat ramp??? I simply forgot to fill out the pass and got this gift on my windshield!!!! Won't be back in Hickory county for a while!!!! How many times do I have to pay the MAN!!!! Income tax Sales tax Personal property tax Real estate tax I think I made my point
