I went out Saturday night and did well, nothing big but lots of bites. Yellow buggers were the ticket. The Coe has not been holding true to their generation schedule. Better double check before you head that way. The Browns are spawning, if you are familiar with beaver then you know where the redds are. Watch your step.
The black panther thing is crazy. I am from nw Arkansas and there are lots of stories here too. Is it possible that regular mountain lions have a dark appearance in a certain light? Certain angle? Could they be mistaking a bear for a cat?
this whole conversation started with myself and Jtram and onthefly night fishing and discussing the horrors of fishing below the dam at night. Pretty much goes in this order; mountain lions
Dam rupture
Meth head
Drowning
Man eating brown trout
I have been researching(as a hobby) the existence of big cats in this part of the country and I have discovered a lot of people have a story to tell. So I was gonna see if anyone on here cared to tell a tale. I would perfer first person accounts from the last 10-15 years......no offense but save the ones from your uncle's cousin who saw a black panther in the 60's. Thanks for sharing.
We hit it Thursday night and I struggled. The conditions seemed right but I couldn't quite put it together. Caught a few and I'm determined to get back and seek revenge.
I have a fishcat inflatable pontoon that has a damaged outer lining. The bladder is fine, the seem ripped out of the outer lining. I'm looking for suggestions on how to repair/replace the lining. Or possibly suggestions of someone who could do the repair.
