I caught this monster white last night, I thoguht i would never get it in, actually figured it was a carp, the small fish in the photo is a very nice white , probably close to 3 lbs. My wife held on to the pole as I climbed down bluff to net the big one. no lifting it up with fire line.

My father and I watched about ten boats, several guide boats and other catching trout about every other cast. Walked across roark bride and saw large schools of fish. I did see approx 3 lbr caught, we were there only a half hour . Looked like a blast.

I had the pleasure of visiting with Phil at his resort earlier today and picking up a gift of fishing goodies that has been donated to me from members of this forum. Some that I have never met , not even fish the same lakes. My home was robbed and My entire crappie box was stolen and favorite rod broken. Members helped me replace a lot of tackle, and too whom it may concern that sent funds to phil, I bought a new rod and better reel then I have actually ever owned.The Lord has blessed me over and over this year even though it has been a struggle with my shoulder surgery and my wife having back surgery, then the break in at my home, we are going to bounce back better then ever in 2014. Guys be careful is all I want. They came in my home as we slept. It has scared me enough that I have a gun by my bed and im embarrased of what I have become. I have had visions of shooting the bastards but they are Gods children too, even thoguh they have had a visiti from Satan.The entire episode has even scared my 84 yr old father who lives by himself, that Im afraid to walk in his house anymore , hoping he wont shoot me.I would love to have my things back but they are just things.Ive had my shoulder royator cuff operated on this winter and it seems poetic that I cant reel right now anyway,I am in awe of this website and the friends that reply. Hi guys this has never happened to me before, but after 50 years of bliss in Branson, my home and vehicles were broken into. The keys, wallet, gps, etc didnt bother me so much, BUT,,,,,, they took my entire tackle box of crappie lures, jigs, swimming minnows, hooks etc. Im actually more upset about that then anything. Oh and broke the tip off my pole in the back seat of the truck. The dumbasses left a half inch drive deep socket set with ratchets and breaker bar in the truck.. If anyone hears gossip give me a hollar. Merry Christmas all
