I got worms but im goin fishin anyway

I was wondering if anyone was catching taney crappie or bass in the roark, bee creek areas of taney.Seems like lilly did good in the landing area , but the reports have subsided. Anyone know?

Shoot if you guys wannna watch cars drivin round in circles come to down town branson.Its not as fast , but its as exciting.Especially when someone takes a close parking spot from another person close to bass pros front door.

I imagine i was working on my 1972 buick grand sport and wishin I was crusin down town Branson, after a nite hardball game at Mang Field, but alas i was only 15.And the cool guys drove 57 chevys

with the higher mileage id say engine.This problem can be caused by head gasket leaks.This is just an idea on my part .A head gasket can deteriorate at any mileage, it just depends on the condition of the cooling system.Chrysler may have had a program to repair or replace at one time also. Also another thought crossed my mind sometimes an accesory such as a ac compressor or alt mite lock up and cause the same problem.with 1 serpintine belt this can be checked by removing the belt and making sure all accesorys freely spin.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I just thought of another thing,fuel lock, some times a cylinder will fill with fuel from an leaking injector and cause a locked engine. this is a repairable situation

I think the vehicle has a hydrostaticly locked engine>coolant in a cylinder, doesnt take a lot of coolant at all, because water will not compress.

buy some of lilleys swimming minnows.They are very close to your crappie treats there.And i do believe even after the curly tail is gone the crappies are liking them

Guys taking the law into your own hands will bite you in the end.Some one will some day come apart at the seams and give you a knuckle sandwich.If you see someone breaking the law, call the law.Thats thier job and you wont jeopardize yourself or your young fishing partner.Police get shot at for less offences , why wouldnt one want to play it safe

I think id sell.Maybe the locked gate is the problem. Was the acess blocked previously to the new owner.How long has he owned this land?Is this area prone to vandalism.Maybe he bought someone elses headache and thinks its unfair, The house breakin is way out of line .This info is just enough, but good ole boys arent crooks, they are phone co guys, auto parts salesmen, Hard working men and women who love life and enjoy the outdoors.Maybe they feel cheated as to not have acess to water they may have swam since they were children with their parents.

ALL, good points but let me add some thoughts.In an above read statement it was said 2 fishermen were 3/4 mile above mdc acsess.I think the landowner doesnt want people on this stretch of stream period.If you enter a stream at an access point does it mean you have to go down stream?Im betting when he bought this stretch of land people had been visiting this cave for many moons.And im sure the good ole boy network(locals) all dont party at his stretch.I would love to say i owned a section of land with a beautiful fish filled stream that ran through it.and I would love to see people enjoying it.Remember when the creek rises the gravel will refill the four wheeler tracks.It is a state law that vehicles arent allowed in the streams and if they get there there must be some kind of road there.So block it off, (that is if its on your land )Put an add in the paper asking nicely for cooperation on this matter.Ask politely for a trash pickup, or some kind of sensible matter to keep your name good.Dont stand on a bluff and yell, it just makes you look like a bad ole boy.

speakin of being a devils advocate.I dont keep short fish period,,,,,,,,but,,,,,,,,,whats worse to a fishery, one boat perhaps the same boat with 3 fisherman that keep the legal size and number of fish perhaps 5 trips a week , 40 or so times a year, compared to a boat thats used perhaps 10 or less times a year that keeps said short fish?The laws are the laws , but dont blame fishery problems on such limited variables
