Thanks Bill. Based on the other reports, and what y'all recommended in this thread, looks like I won't be traveling far from Kimberling City. You can catch all the LM you want in Texas, but them Brownies are few and far between down here. Guess I'll be chasing them next week! Time to lay down the broom sticks and pick up my pixie sticks. Lol

Hello All Have enjoyed reading all the reports here for years. Thanks to all who contribute! I'm a Texan headed to the Rock for over a week begining next Thursday. My mother lives in Shell Knob, and I lived in Springfield in the 80's, so I'm no stranger to the area. I rented a houseboat in Kimberling City for a whole week, and will have my Champion in tow. Have no problem going from one end of the lake to the other. But, I'm partial to fishing the south end around Cow, and have spent a lot of time in the Kings River area as well. So here is my question... If I wanted to be close to the best fishing week after next, what area of the lake should I concentrate my efforts? ps; If you see a this boat, feel free to stop and say hello!
