The fish on my avatar caught on a red fin, love them on table rock, but have to fish them with little wind, and be patient to figure them out.

Fishing by my self is some of the best therapy I think I can get. Fishing with my boys is just great to see them start to love my passion. Fishing with my friends has turned into some of the most interesting adventures I have ever had.

I totally agree the regulars on here are great, but I think it would just get better if you happen to have a great day you would post on it. There are days (far and between) that I figure something out. I think it would be outstanding if one of my post helped some of the regulars get on fish.

First off want to say a big thanks to all the guys like quill back and Bo who have been putting some great information on here for everyone. Fished from 1030 to 400 pm had over 20 bass with 8 measured keepers and one 17 1/2 inch walleye. All on Ned rig on chunk rock with fish hitting at about 20 feet boat in 30 plus. Just a couple fish sorry the nice three pounder picture kind of gave away my spot. .

U may try the super 8 in cassville to see if they would let u plug your boat in. About 25 minutes to big m. Not a horrible drive and some ok places to eat at night.

Yea in the Spring when my fishing buddies "call in sick to work" they send pics to see if I can figure out where they are fishing while I am at work.

We had this one by the dam on top water. Really skinny but a little over 20 inches if I remember right.

Did any one notice that it is a piebald deer (brown and white). Do they have a population down there in holiday island???

So I guess I was asking if I should change anything with my setup. Just read the report on cow creek and it was the same problem. I mean they where eating the bait just would come off.

Fished a tournament on Saturday out of big m and had a great bite on the buzz bait all day, but lost at least six keepers. Like quill said would think I had a good hook up but would lose them 20 seconds into the fight. Was using a medium heavy jig rod rod with 12# mono with super sharp hook with sharp trailer. Had no problem bringing in non keepers, but could not drive the Steele on the bigger fish. Any thoughts??? Ended up ok but should have been a unbelivable day.

In the beaver lake forum in a link named "any top water striper action yet a guy posted a video of some striper up in that area check it out really cool also up there is where a state record striper was caught a few years ago. Pretty sure it was in Arkansas record

A bittsy tube in yellow or watermelon with a 1/16th tube jig find some big boulders and u will catch nice blue gills, smallies, and black bass all day -
Thanks for the great advice but the wind really hurt the am top water bite and using the fly rods. Did get some great smallies later in the am on a tube had one 171/2 inches that thought it was a five pounder.

I have done well over by quarry cove that small island and the mouth of Rambo in past may start there. Is there a curtesy dock at ventrist ???
