  1. Just talked to a guy this morning that fished the area they shocked last night- caught some good trout including a 20-inch rainbow. He watched them work the area at outlet #2 for 45 minutes. He walked down within an hour and caught fish there. I always thought any fish that was shocked wouldn't be caught for a while but I guess I was wrong.
  2. Annual electric shock survey tonight. Brian Shaffer said 5 boats put in at dark. Zero units tonight. No fog either. If I didn't get up at 5 this morning I'd be out there.
  3. Tried this afternoon. They were rising but I couldn't get them to do much. Perfect conditions. That's fishing.
  4. A quiet day on the lake. A lot of schools are in session and you can tell it here. Trout are happy... they didn't see as many hooks today!
  5. I don't think so.
  6. There may be separation on the lower lake but I doubt it. But it won't have anything to do with Table Rock. It's a whole different animal.
  7. Might not be able to log in since the update... I'm still getting trouble emails. Straw hat should be on soon...
  8. It's about flood control. Which is more important... fish or flooding homes, businesses, crops? I know some of you would say fish but wouldn't that be selfish? Putting a hobby before someone else's livelihood? That's coming from someone who has both at stake. I've been flooded, and my business has been affected by a high water fish kill and I'll take the fish kill any day.
  9. Babler might know
  10. Note: you don't have to reduce your pics now with the new update, Chief.
  11. I told him he was missed... he didn't believe me.
  12. I changed his pw... he's just now getting back on
  13. What browser are you guys using on the #1 issue? It works for me in Chrome, FireFox and Safari.
  14. Might look for it... thanks
  15. Heading to your town tomorrow. For a funeral.

  17. Largest landed trout, about 17 inches. Dropping eggs but they didn't look alive. Clear with a little orange center. But she fought very hard! I should say best 2 hours beat any day I've had on Taneycomo. Boated to the dam and fished the south bank, first with a black Cicada, then with a #8 tan hopper. Nothing. Drifted on down to the cut into the island, north side, above Lookout Island. If you've been up there with the water running, hopefully you know where I mean. Started with the big hopper, then switched to a #14 black Jap Beetle. Caught a dozen from there down the side of the bank over 2-3 feet of water and vegetation below (underwater). When I got to the end, the point, I started catching them fishing from the weeds down below the island and over on the back side a little. I didn't venture up at all but could have. Didn't keep count but I know I caught 10 rainbows after talking to a gentleman I'd been talking to that was drifting with 2 friends and at that time I was over 20 trout. All rainbows. Broke off the beetle so tied on a tan #14 hopper and they really like that. I left feeding fish... something I don't do often. But I needed to get back to the dock. Fished from 3 to 5 pm.
  18. Fishing Buddy is a default setting I created for ppl who post more than xx times... not sure what that figure is but it's pretty high. Contributor is a title I give those who post a lot of regular fishing reports. It's not a hard and fast number... it's not new.
  19. It's called reputation. I'm pretty sure it's the number of likes you get on a post.
  20. Should be better now.
  21. The battle is getting it right for ALL browsers and devices. It's got to be a coding nightmare! I tried to use a responsive google ad code but it didn't come up on at least my browsers. That would have been ideal.
