    Key is to find a dock that's in deep water- over 30 feet. I think they'll be there, especially if there's a spawning bank or cove close by.

    Supposedly a guide has been going someplace around K-Dock (I think) and catching alot of whites the last couple of weeks. No location given. Only that he's catching them on and just off the "mud flats". If someone had all day and was patient, he'd probably find some.

    For the conditions, these were some nice weights. No generation and pretty still day. Quite a bit of boat traffic. I fished from 1-3 pm and didn't do that well. The top 4 finishers fished with jigs, mainly straight line. I heard some were caught up by Fall Creek, below of course, and some were caught down by the RR bridge. One thing - John Rogers, who's team placed 3rd, said he changed all his line out Friday night to 2-pound, after he basically got shunked by his partner on Friday who was using 2-pound. He said the difference was night and day.

    What's the difference between a "float and fly" jig and a plain marabou jig? Fur? What size are these jigs?

    Bill said he heard they've been hauling in limits of 15 inch crappie the last 2 weeks but you know how fishing stories go... but it does look like this is going to be a banner crappie year for Table Rock and hopefully Bull Shoals too.
