    Didn't see where he said that but I tried to send one and it said he could not receive any. There is a limit on bites used on each account but his has been turned off. I have no way to communicate with him except through the forum board.

    Going by memory... for me, not the best thing to do. I looked into the FelGirl issue further and it seems there was some question about this member's IP locations. I'd have to visit with MoCarp and see how I handled it - I can't remember. But I do have to walk back my statement about FelGirl being a spammer... she is not. What threw me off is most of her IP locations were from NY, NY. Sorry, I've made this bigger than it needs to be. As for banning, I'm not going to get in to past cases because they've been dealt with and forgotten. All this should be put to bed too.

    You didn't see my post... he did not create a new account. Creating a fake/new account to play other members would/could be a bannable offense. I don't take that lightly.

    Wow... I take a few days off from reading and I see all this. I've banned very few people from this forum - and it takes more than what I see here... much more. So you can forget about banning anyone. I think all y'all need to step back and take a breath.

    Next time you're down here, come by and look at some reels - and line - we got in. We're very impressed with the quality of these reels, all below $60. And have new fly line in for less than $20. I've been fishing them and l like them so far.

    linda and i got in a short trip friday evening. got out on the water a while before dark. had to do some searching around before we found some to sling at. they bit pretty good but got somewhat scarce not too long after dark. seemed to have frontitis. most of our bites were in the 30 ft. range. 1 oz. Black Widow, 1 oz. Mega Elite Blade and a 3/4 oz. Grass Jig did all the catching. quit a bit before the witching hour and ended up with 10 keeper, but 7 of them were really nice ones. never did get any shallower bites at all. bo View full article

    The fish you catch in Missouri, or elsewhere, may be possessed and transported as your personal baggage, if you have the required permit. Fish may be stored, preserved or refrigerated only at your home, camp, place of lodging or in a commercial establishment. Stored fish must be labeled with your full name, address, permit number, species of fish and the date placed in storage. Fish taken in another state by methods not permitted in Missouri may not be possessed on waters of the state.

    This guy has posted in a bunch of FB groups here locally that he's selling "cleaned and packaged" trout for $4 each. Yes, the authorities have been alerted but supposedly he's defending his new biz online saying it's perfectly legal because he's "fishing from the bank and not from a boat". He's in for a rude awakening... I've been told that it's a felony for selling game fish.

    Depending on how much water, most of those guides are running lots of line between their float and fly, plus split shots. Up to 12+ feet which is crazy but works. Hard to bring the fish in once the float hits the rod tip. Otherwise, you're stripping streamers along the banks. You can fish the eddies if it's only 2 units with a bigger midge under a float - or a miracle fly (egg on a jig head). Or a dry too. Hopper, beatle, stimulator or something. But that bite hasn't happened for me yet at least this summer.
