Put in at the landing and ran my way milk run for bass. To say Taney bass fishing is a secret on Taney is a joke. Boats in every Creek all the way down to Rockaway. Didn’t want to horn in as the low water didn’t leave much room. Never wet a line. Fun though to see it with empire jacked up. Couldn’t even get in behind the fishing pier at Rockaway. I’m at the pool with a beer

I don’t agree with that at all. I’ve fished both for 40 plus years and Taney wins every time.

Put on the waders this morning and went to the dam at 6. Not many people fishing. It’s like a half to one unit running. Very quick flow. Took a while to find em and when I did it was on. Fished till the horn at 9. Caught them steadily and they were chunks and fought hard. Bugger to start then spaghetti and meatballs. That did the most damage. A few midging here and there but they wouldn’t take a gnat. Headed to lower Taney to look for bass. Been quite a while since I bsss fished down there but @Travis Swift got me interested again. I feed em and talk to them to try and get one to land on my hand.

Put in at 6:15 or so and quit at 10. Threw the jerk until I had corpal tunnel. Two little swipes by rainbows and that was it. I tried new water first instead of my normal run. Shoulda started on tried and true areas. The water was definitely lower today than yesterday. It was real sketchy above fall Creek. In fact had to use their restroom on my way back down.😆 On a positive @Flysmallie can’t troll me on my pictures👍 Back at it tomorrow.

Got to Cooper at 6 am. Heavy fog and then thunder and quick light rain. Slowly made my way upstream in the fog. Boats scattered around fishing. 35 megawatts till 9 or so and then they ramped it up to 150 when I left Threw the jerk till noon. No fish caught after 10:30. Had around 10 to the boat, rolled another 15 or so and had at least that many followers. Never caught a rainbow although at times groups would follow it all the way to boat. A couple of the browns that I rolled or had on for a while were real nice. One XL brown followed the jerk to the boat and he was a tank. Back at it tomorrow. @Travis Swift I swear I had all my bass gear but I just couldn’t leave my regular milk run. This post has been promoted to an article
