    I've fished Sage rods for years until a few years ago I when I went into River run Outfitters. That lady had an Orvis Helios on the front porch for people to try. I loved it on the first cast. I bought it from her since she was smart enough to put one out for people like me to try. I'm on my 4th year with it and I still haven't had an inkling to go back to my Sage. Listen to Joe D. Pete

    We went yesterday to a deep, relatively clear reservoir that was muddied up from rain. The fish had moved off the bank into 8-10' of water. Last week we killed me on flukes, this week no joy. I used one of the jig heads I bought on here from Dtrs5kprs and a whole watermelon zero hooked wacky style. The jig got it down to them and it was on. Thanks to the Ned we now have his big brother Nedtrick. Pete

    My son bought a cheap spinning reel and it works great. Spins the line up into a mess. Can anyone recommend a decent one that's not $150? 6.5 foot medium heavy rod for Ned fishing. Pete
