Doc Fords sucked and that's all I have to say about that. Today's fishing was tough. The are releasing huge water out of okeechobee and its mud water. They've had the problem since January. One small snook caught and one broke off. No other bites at all. You could clearly see the difference in water color today. Still a nice day and Captain Steve didn't try to conserve gas. We ran everywhere. Funny thing. We pull into the second spot and flip that pin fish in there and bam I'm on. We both grinned thinking it was on. One more bite that I broke off in a mangrove and that was it. Cant wait to go out again! pete

We're going to doc fords in fort Myers. The girls said they don't go to the ones out on the islands. Im easy. Beer, blackened grouper and a good view. Like this from our table last night.

We met Steve at 8:30. 4 girls and myself. Steve was great, very patient and let the girls hook up the bait and cast it. Knowing they would flip it in the mangroves. Just a great friendly person. We caught 2 catfish, 2 snook, 1 mangrove snapper and a jack. The jack was a good fight for my little wife, she couldn't believe how small it was when she finally got it in. We had many snook on for a while with several jumping out of the water and throwing the bait. Oh! The girls caught two birds because they couldn't yank the bait out quick enough. We all just had a great time. Overall an A plus trip considering 5 people in a flats boat. Headed out with just myself and my 17 year old daughter tomorrow. Pete

Wow! Thanks. There was a gate that kept you out of the circle last year. That's what delayed me going over there with the prowler.
