  1. Cole Camp showing 6" already radar estimated and its training.
  2. Ya, it's slow! Only managed 2 keepers in the Wed nighter last night.
  3. I tried that, can't register...doesn't load 1/2 the time, seems like it is need of attention. Probably fell victim of a facebook page.
  4. Anyone bought a Coast Guard Registered Vessel and gone through the ownership transfer process? I was told it can take 60 days or more for the paperwork to go through, and can't get the boat stickered in MO until that happens...was also told that you don't need to get the boat stickered if it's a registered vessel. Of course, I can't find a number to call the CG and actually ask a PERSON these questions.
  5. I use braid to a fluoro leader 99% of the time. I have had really good results with Berkley solutions mono in 10lb test as well.
  6. Sure, good group of guys I don't see why not. Just get to PB2 a little early and sigh up.
  7. Fishing the Wednesday nighter tonight with my son, I'll report back. Last couple was tough to scrape together a limit in 3 hours.
  8. For LOZ standards it is slow. But still better than most lakes
  9. Dont throw one at night...don't do it!
  10. Each trip out on LOZ I have been seeing 2-3 floaters, but not just around weigh in sites. Makes me wonder if there hasnt been some toxic algae bloom or something with the temp spike.
  11. Thanks, they were great to deal with!
  12. Pretty sure I spun the prop on our deck boat so looking for recommendations on a prop shop around Osage Beach area. Thanks!
  13. I just had Young's Boat Lift save mine from making it to the bottom of the lake 2 weeks ago, they were here the day after I called them, reasonable and professional. I had them go ahead and replace ALL bolts and install new pitman arms while they were here so hopefully it's good for a couple years.
  14. Carol at Osage seems like a great gal, especially when shes handing me an envelope after a Friday nighter Joe Bass isnt bad either.
  15. LOZ, just past the Glaize bridge. I plan to get it to wrench this fall for service.
  16. I'm open to suggestions! Like I said my best pattern for a couple weeks now has been a shaky head in 8-15' in brush piles. Worm color matters little. I would really like to learn how to catch them on the giant spoons down here.
  17. Well, I guess that depends on ones definition of great. No one I have talked to is doing good deep yet, and none of the locals have been bringing them in. There's fish to be caught but the size hasn't been great. Care to share your secret? 3-4lb+ fish have been hard to come by.
  18. Oh man, I sure love some stream wading on hot summer days!
  19. I'm shocked the valve still works, it was a table rock boat and they must have let their kids use the live wells to store shells and pea gravel there was a ton of it in the drain! I have not tried back flushing it yet, it's on a lift with no water at this dock it will have to wait til it comes out for fall service.
  20. Believe what?
  21. Oh, ya I guess some might not know that but still, even the last friday nighter brought light bags to the scales I think 13lbs got a check in the last one...for 5 fish.
  22. Anyone installed one of these? https://flow-rite.com/products/marine/aerators/mp-1000 I've got a terribly slow draining livewell in my Champion that I think would be a nightmare to fix, this might be a solution and I would love to have a pump out for weigh ins.
  23. Fishing is S L O W right now for LOZ standards. The locals are struggling to bring in 15lbs in weeknight tourneys, 12lbs is getting checks.. Pattern? Pick one, or three and you can catch a few fish. My best spots have been brushpiles in 8-15 fow with a 1/4oz shaky head and small worms in just about any color. I have yet to find fish stacked on a point.
  24. It's already down to 658.75 and their pulling pretty hard in the afternoons. I was going to explore up that way today but only made it as far as the flower cove...whatever thats called.
  25. Went to all Tatulas 2 yrs ago and will never look back, I'm guessing they get a little more use in my hands than the average guy at 6 tournaments a month. One of my partner was a Lews guy until he got tired of being outcasted, he is slowly switching over all his reels as well. They are basically all good, Daiwa, Shimano, Lews, Abu...buy the higher end reels and your getting a good piece of equipment. A lot of people I see complaining about how a reel casts has a bad rod and or line set up for the lure their using. Don't expect a Rogue to cast like a 1/2oz Lipless.
