Arthur Bryants is okay....the nostalgia is excellent. Jack's Stack....tops for me. Rosedales.....great beans and the sauce is kind-a cool Dry rub.....it's okay....justnot a KC speciality....won't go any further on that. Don't want to start a BB-Q war.

Figured I'd get a couple of hours of fishing in the Trophy area...right by the boat ramp yesterday afternoon. Got to the spot...just a couple of teenagers fishing too...so had pretty much the whole area to our selves....COOL!!!!! Got suited up and rigged with a new Japanese Beetle I was eager to try. Closed the door on the van and took literally five steps and the horn blows! Tried fishing for about an hour and a half....but had to give it up. Just too much flow. Will try the beetle again next weekend....we'll see. It was STILL a beautiful afternoon!!!!! Blessings To All!!! Bill

OR...when in doubt.....make the old standard buck-tail version. size 16 scud hook 3-4 peacock herls wrapped for the body and short legs 1/4" -1/2" thick bunch of black bucktail pulled forward for the wingcasing. Cut a few strands of hair loose from the back end for longer legs. Put some Sally Hansen's on the back for gloss and longevity. Go fishing... Blessings All! Bill

There is a mini course in Rockaway...not too sure of their hours. There is also a nice little par 3 "city" course in Branson with a big playgrouond for the kids. I think it is called Don Gardner Par Three....easy to find. Have a GREAT trip! Bill

Well....I'm bummed! Have not had a chance to get a line wet since early February! When I'm off...they're running water or all my favorite bank spots are taken....still don't have a boat. Oh well......thems' the berries!
