  1. I may just drop it off to you next Saturday if I need a new one. Let you rebuild it. If you want the work?
  2. Thanks I'll try that when I'm down next weekend. Can I service the starter myself or would it need new brushes and such
  3. Ok thanks. Just wondering out looking for new starting battery. My starter is dragging. Hope I don't have to replace it.
  4. What's the difference between marine cranking amps and cold cranking amps.
  5. How low are they dropping the lake this year?

  7. Looks good. a lot of guys want to get to fancy. They end up with to much. To hard to fish.
  8. I just put a helix7 on my boat but when I start the big motor it dims out and shuts down. So I just shut the unit off. How many cranking amps should I get. I have a 2000 optimax 200. Starting battery is old. It never has spun the motor great since I got the motor last year. Any sudjestions
  9. 63 Sunday at the 9mm water has good color.
  10. Which days are they fishing
  11. Anybody fishing this? My step son and me are going to fish. He's never fished a tournament. He's pretty excited. I'm going to swing by there Saturday and sign up
  12. Anybody fish the dupo marine tournament out of alhonna. I heard 19#won it
  13. BASS has a release boat that go out in the lake at different spots and drops a few at a time out of the bottom. That way no one knows where they are.
  14. He was staying in my condo complex. Looked like jack plate broke. He didn't know what hit. Didn't seem to hurt the transom. It happens about the 11 mm. They were lucky the motor didn't come in the boat with them.
  15. Last year the web sight showed where each fish was weighed in at this year they didn't.
  16. We never weighed a fish. Just had 4 keepers all weekend. Quit about noon today. This morning in spring creek we were sitting in the back and this pr@&k in a z21 churned up mud beside us to get farther back in there. It didn't help him out. We just went to the other side and fished the same water in the middle. There are some real jerks out there for this tournament.

  18. Hope it below 75 come Saturday.
  19. Is the water temp dropped much this week?
  20. I've always said they need a 1 mile no wake about every 5 to 10 miles just like at the mouth of the glaze It wouldn't hurt a thing
  21. I make my own. I use 1/4oz on my Carolina rod and 1/8 on a spinning outfit. If I feel I need to go heavier I'll throw a Texas rig or just a regular jig. I always throw a green pumpkin trick worm or a finesse worm. I use my shakey head to locate the fish. Then concentrate on them with a jig or spinner bait. But sometimes the bigger ones want the shakey head.
  22. I had 3 quick keepers Saturday morning on a shakey head. Then the next three morning just dinks. It seems like they got lock jaw.
  23. I think it would help if the put no wake areas up. Like in the glaze arm. Put one about every ten miles. About a half mile long. That would slow everyone down some. What happens is the 40+foot yachts put off such a big wave. Then the smaller boats have to plow to keep from getting swamped. I think they will do something but not soon enough.
  24. Most of my fish the last 2 weeks have been coming from a shaky head 1/4 oz popping it off the bottom in 10 to 20 feet. But it does seem all my jig bites came from a fast moving jig. I think they are thinking its brim. I'm throwing a summer craw pattern. All between 7 and 10 mm on main lake but I get off the water before the idiots get out.
