  1. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill and his family. I have not had the pleasure of meeting him as well, but the short time we have been in the area, it is obvious he was, and still is, definitely a well respected and liked guy.
  2. Wow, that's a ton of boats for that lake. Welcome to Nebraska! ☺ Thanks for the info, I will have to give him a try. Have not been to Prairie Queen yet, but have heard young man on 192 dodge is giving a few up. Good luck!
  3. C4F. Did you get those at wanahoo? Never thought of using Ned up here. My last outing there was fairly uneventful, but, it was an afternoon on the water. 😎
  4. Just a thought from some of us that aren't as fluent with our words, and or letters of this type. If someone had the time and was able to draft a template for a letter to be sent, posted it for all to cut and paste and put their own info on it, we might get a lot more guy's to join in and send the above mentioned our thoughts. I know it will look repetitive and at some point maybe a little unprofessional, but sometimes consistency pays, and the easier it is for people to join in on the battle the more of a voice that might be heard from their potential voting public.
  5. I would like to say thank you to everyone that took the time to set this up as well. It was great to meet some of the folks i see here on the board on a regular basis in person. As i suspected, it was a great bunch of guy's & gal's. We will definitely be back for the next one! Thanks Again! Hopefully I will see some of you guys on the water, if you see a red Skeeter SX19 in the campbell point to Baxter area, stop by and say Hi! Take Care!
  6. Yes definitely Dan's Marine. He has done a good job for me, and got me in and back out right away. I highly recommend them.
  7. Just wanted to make sure my plan of attack for sat. was ok with everyone. Still have not found a reliable trailer for my boat, so was hoping my son and i could take off out of Baxter where we keep it, and fish that end of the lake. Sounds like weather could be as issue for a 45 min boat ride so was planning on driving to eagle rock for the after party (I mean" hoot-n-anny" ) I can sure be there at 6am for launch if needed, then drive back to baxter, but just wanted to check with everyone to make sure this plan is ok. Thanks Everybody, and good luck!!
  8. http://www.indianpointmarina.com/rentboat.php Indian point is probably the closest to where you will be, but Baxter marina now has the Table Rock Pontoon rental dock at their location, and the lake is less crowded in that area if you want to drive about 45 min to get there. Its at the end of Hwy H
  9. My son and I will be there. Thanks!
  10. I will bring some soda/water/trash bags&Paper towels
  11. I think he just better surrender.... Might be less painful!
  12. And Tomorrow night and the next...............
  13. Sometimes i think that is all that is left to throw at them.
  14. Absolutely! Our prayers will be there for you guy's!
  15. Thanks Guy's I appreciate the info. Thanks for the offer wrench. I appreciate that, unfortunately for me, i have so much crap i need to get rid of the way it is i shouldn't add to the pile or my wife will have my pile on a platter again..
  16. I have finally came to the reality that my trailer my father had in the key's is rusted beyond repair. Having a hard time finding a used trailer for a skeeter SX190. Does anybody know of places around the TR area that deal in used trailers, or as a last resort, possibly a new one. Boat sits in the slip 95% of the time so used would be my preference if at all possible. Thanks in advance for your help!
  17. My son and I will most likely not fish, as my trailer is still in the shop and i was just planning on boating over at some point, but it would be a long cold ride from Baxter to eagle rock (and back :). We can sure come to the weigh in if it is still a go, and would be happy to bring anything that is needed.
  18. My son and I most likely wont fish, as my trailer is still in the shop and was planning on just boating over at some point, but i think it would be a long cold ride from Baxter to Eagle Rock. We will still come to the weigh in at 2:30 if all is still a go. Let me know if i need to bring anything. I can stop on my way and get whatever food or drinks, firewood etc. we might need.
  19. Sounds good to me and count me in! Thanks!
  20. You might try Trace Hollow, they are just south of Baxter at the end of the cove. Not sure if they allow pets or not but a nice reasonable place to stay and they are open in March Otherwise the only other place that I know of that allows pets is Fish n Fun over closer to Shell Knob
  21. Thank You Thank You! Looking forward to it. Been watching the forum for several weeks, and seems like a great group of people! Looking forward to spending some time on the water with everyone!
  22. Did I hear someone from Nebraska can win this time? We are new to the lake and just getting used to the ways of the TR Bass, but my son and I would love to fish the tournament. Who knows, maybe we can have a little beginners luck, even though we are from Ne.
