Sounds like a great couple days. Is that a Champion boat your running? Looks like the same color scheme as the last Champion I had.

Glad we could be of a little help. Sounds like the 3 generations all got to enjoy some fishing. Congrats.

Truman is on fire. Even on the lake fishing flats like its summer time. Rigging bite is starting with the shad pushing in to the mouths of the creeks and coves.

Had a quick last minute trip today. Fished from 11:45 to 3 and fought the wind the whole time. Weeded through a 150 or so small fish in the 8"-10" range. We were fishing from 2' out to 8' picthing bobbers again up a creek to come up with 30 good ones. Really tested out the new Ultrex trolling motor today. SpotLock and jog feature make it so easy in the wind. Hit spot lock and cast bobbers. Then just hit the button once to move ahead 5 feet or if needed hit it 4 times and moves you ahead 20 feet. Same for left and right. Then you have the freedom to move around the boat instead of leaving your foot on the trolling motor pedal the whole time. Best investment I have made for fishing.

Another perfect November day to spend on the boat with some good friends. We got out earlier today due to some family dinners and it paid off. Three limits and still time to make it home by lunch. Same pattern as yesterday using Mike Coffey baits on Orange Timmy Tom's 1/16 oz weedless jig heads 18"-24" under a bobber using Dingo rods from Power Crappie. We were pretty selective today and culled through at least 150 fish to end up with 45 good size fish.

What a day for the end of November. Got out with my good friend Jarrod Campbell. Like he said it was like being a kid again watching a bobber go down. We fished from 8 inches to 2 feet deep under a bobber fishing around standing timber and brush piles. We fished Mike Coffey 2 1/2" baits in Silver Glitter/Chart and Blue/Chart on 1/16 oz Timmy Tom weedless heads. 7' Dingo rod from Power Crappie swung them all in the boat for me except one big one that Jarrod thought he better lip like a bass. Kept 30 good eaters that will make for a good fish fry for Jarrod and his family.

Looks like a lot of fun!!! Someone has a good looking old Charger in the background of one of the pictures. -
Looks like another very nice day tomorrow. Going after Crappie and then may chase the elusive walleye for a little while.

Dang I just seen your post. Windfinder is usually pretty accurate. It was spot on today for Truman. Beautiful day. You get up this way holler and I will get you a report. I got laid off and enjoying some severance pay for a while so I will be fishing and tying a lot of jigs.

I got out today about 8 and fished until around noon. Good limit of eater size Crappie with some tournament sized fish mixed in that I released. Probably caught 45-50 fish with all but a few being 10-11 1/2". I was using Timmy Tom weedless jig heads in 8-14' fishing 8'-10' down in and around brush on drop offs. I used 2 1/2" Silver glitter/Chart and Junebug/Chart Mike Coffey custom baits. Few bags of fish for the freezer to take to my parents and some aunts/uncles.

Going to be a rough one this weekend on the Missouri lakes. Gusts to 38 forecasted for Saturday. Here is a site I use for wind forecast. Most times it's pretty accurate for the day of. Like any forecast it will change some by the weekend if checking on it midweek. https://www.windfinder.com/forecast/stockton_lake

Thanks for the tips. The spin and glow were a little higher but looked good. I just picked up a couple of each style from the local outdoor store that I use to run. Figure I can see what works and then get more or start ordering what I need to tie my own rigs Lmtout's father use to be a regular customer of ours and a very good fisherman. He helped me several times with some new items to add to my order since none of us at the store were walleye fisherman. We always carried the basics that people used early spring for below the dam and that was it. With his help over a year or two they now they have a pretty good selection from spinner rigs, bottom bouncers, cranks and plastics.

Have not been on that end for a while but up the Grand and Osage fish are being caught on edges of the flats close to the channel and also mouths of the creeks. 6-12' of wayer and right on the bottom. Jigs are working best. Hardwood clusters or about any tree with brush or root was around it.

A buddy caught this giant today on Truman while fishing a Crappie tournament. His partner lost one even bigger this morning. This will make you want to get out and get after them. 30" and just over 8 1/2 lbs

Where can I find some more info on this Tin Boats bass club? I have not bass fished for years but may be interested in a club for tin rigs. I switched from glass to my current Ranger RT188 metal boat a year ago and I am loving it. Finally got it decked out the way I want it. Ultrex trolling motor, Helix 12 at bow with 360 imaging. Then 2 Helix 10's at the console on a dual mount. Ready for chasing all species now.

Those look great Paco. I will have to try some of those blades and hooks. Thanks

I have found lots of good info already from doing searches. Going to make a run to Scheels and Cabelas this weekend and pick up some more walleye items. Cabelas has Flicker Shad on sale for $2.99 right now. Ed do you know Kevin Pitts in the pictures above? He runs the state barn for MODOT here in Clinton. He is the other guy that is going to start walleye fishing with me.

I have been gone now for a while but I managed Everharts for a couple years. Jared is my name but "the big guy" is how most would ask for me when coming in the store. Great selection of fishing and hunting items. Biggest selection of molds/jig building items anywhere. Crappie selection as good as any place in the country also. It's tough living a mile away from the store.

Sounds like a a good day. Enough other fish in the mix to keep it interesting. The whites had to be a fun way to end the day.
