  1. I'm sure you guys were up in arms when the exact same thing happened in the summer of 2019 under the previous administration?
  2. Looking like a very good weekend to not fish. Big winds Saturday and big rain sunday. How do you think it will go? HaHaHaHa!
  3. They are used extensively up north to catch fall muskies. People pay good money for them
  4. No one is mad that people will soon make $15 an hour. People are mad that they should be making $35 an hour and believably so. Thinking that poor people getting a few bucks more are the enemy is silly. The enemies are clearly the millionaires and billionaires who have been pocketing the money for years! If you want to require the minimum wage to apply to those 18+ fine, but don't pretend that the people working at the grocery store are not trying to live off those wages!
  5. Are global shortages of raw materials to produce paints and plastics sitting on these boats you speak of? Unfortunately not. Thanks for being chippy though
  6. I would imagine they are experiencing production shortages like everyone else.
  7. Long time lurker here. I began using braid 10 years ago muskie fishing up north. I have since switched on all of my set ups. A polomar knot works great. To me it casts better than mono or fluorocarbon and has less memory. You can "horse" bigger fish with it and not worry about your line breaking. Its great when crappie fishing since you can straighten your jig hook when you get hung up in brush and then bend the hook back with your thumb. I generally do 3 kinds of fishing. Picture, tournament, or food fishing. In my opinion, braid allows you to get fish in the boat more easily than other options. Playing fish only provides more time for unfavorable things to happen. I prefer to minimize that. I have a spinning reel with 6 year old braid and it still performs beautifully!
