  1. Main lake in the mutton creek area water clarity about 2-3 ft, temp 62-64. Hawker point water clarity 5-6 ft, water temp 62-64. When you start going in some of the creek arms water clarity gets worse. Water level is good for how I like to fish, bushes are in a good depth. Some of the water clarity was hard to tell because the wind had alot stirred up. Good luck.
  2. I am on my way up there today. I will report back tonight.
  3. I also noticed something I haven’t seen before at Stockton, several areas with grass or milfoil. It was in alot of the places we fished
  4. I’ve noticed that too. Since we are going to be fishing Stockton more and Table Rock less, I will try to post more reports. The lack of big tournaments and better ramps are nice at Stockton.
  5. Water temperature is from about 64-68 depending on where your at. Some warmer temperatures in the afternoon. I saw 70 in Mutton Creek Friday afternoon. The fish are definitely in the middle of spawning. Alot of fish up shallow. Less than 3-5 feet of water. Saw beds everywhere I fished. Which was mostly mid-lake. Yesterday was an outstanding day. I spent the whole day pitching a strike king menace in and around the bushes in the very back of the pockets. Probably my favorite way to fish. No real big ones, probably 4-5 over 3lbs. I couldn’t get the little males to leave the menace alone. They were very aggressive. I had a couple actually get it as soon as it hit the water, almost like a topwater bite. The bushes I targeted were the ones with more water behind them. Not necessarily in deeper water but more water behind them. It’s a good time to go if you like shallow pitching. Also did pretty good on a Zoom black ultravibe speed worm. Good luck
  6. Saw some last weekend in the Eagle Rock area. Only about half were occupied.
  7. Yeah, I gave up and yesterday because I was off and new it had to be around 60. It was 58-62 every where I went. I am really glad I went, I had one of my best bass fishing days ever on Stockton. Slow start, but the afternoon bite was very good. I had several over 4 lbs and a couple over 5lbs. All on a jig in less than 5’ of water, and after 3pm. Only negative was I hit a tree with the trolling motor and knocked a rod overboard. The water color I was in was pretty dingy. Also got to test my driving skills out mid lake. It was pretty rough
  8. Looks like they aren’t stopping at 917. Just when I was starting to catch them really shallow.
  9. Ok thank you
  10. Will they continue to drop the level until it gets to 915’ or 917’?
  11. Anyone have a recent water temperature for mid lake or sons creek?
  12. I have had better results with the special red craw color, than the candy apple.
  13. I caught 2 over 5 and several keepers on a Frittside 7 in red craw around Eagle Rock. 8-10 ft deep on flat gravel
  14. Wondering what the color is like recently?
  15. Anyone have a recent water temperature?
  16. Anyone up by LOZ ever have them do any prop work for you? Good or bad experience?
  17. I think the KVD big bass tournament is going on, I would go fish the Shell Knob area. We see alot less tournament boats over there. As far as baits or patterns, it has been about everything right now for us. I like the shallow fish better so that is what we do. Crankbait was pretty good, along with jig bite. Have a swimbait tied on too. Good luck and enjoy the fishing.
  18. These bedding fish were caught on an A-rig?
  19. A certain percentage of the pros are already saying that ffs is spooking some of the fish. Making it harder to get close enough to catch them. If that is the case, the fish population and health could actually improve because we are educating alot more fish. I personally like the idea of a slot limit like some lakes have. This could be a good compromise. It obviously works very well( Lake Fork). Texas is way ahead of everyone else when it comes to protecting and growing bass populations. They are a good example to follow. Just my opinion though.
  20. Livescope is the best thing to ever happen to fishing. I know because I don’t own one and I am a long time bank beater. Well maybe I should say Livescope is the best thing to ever happen to bank fishing. The only downside to me is having to navigate through all the boats sitting out in the middle.
  21. I don’t know if this ok or not, but I have a 36 volt ipilot link Ultrex with mdi transducer I need to sell . 52” shaft. I have it listed in the buy-sell forum. It doesn’t even have any scratches on it.
  22. Ok send me the coordinates where you fish at Big M and I will visit them. I mean I will drop some fish off.
  23. We need to stop the dock fishing talk. There are no fish around docks. They all live out in the middle somewhere.
