  2. one yesterday about 18.5"
  3. Caught fish all day long, non stop. Caught 8 on 8 casts at one pool. I think Tim had a five, Roger a four, and I had a three. Tim left early, Roger and I had the river to ourselves for the whole day. A great way to end the season at RR.
  4. Sounds like you had a good time Duane. Did you fish yesterday in the snow?
  5. Today was a great day to be on the River. The fish were biting all day long and multiple fish were available at each pool. The snow continued most of the day but just made it beautiful to be there. I caught 8 fish on 8 casts in one pool. The best part of the whole thing was Tim , Roger, and I were the only people on the river all day. Great way to end the season.
  6. Nice report Duane, Went back to the river after talking to you at Tim's, caught about 30 fish before going home.
  7. My share for sure. I think the count is 8 over 9 pounds. Three 11 pounds. Quite a few 5-8 pounds. It's been a great C&R season.
  8. I got to RR late in the morning on Friday but didn't fish. Looked for you but you must have already gone home. I went back Sunday and fished left handed which helped eliminate the effects on my right side. Caught a 3.5 and 9 pounder on chamois worm. Went back Monday and caught the 6 pounder out of the falls pool that has no gill plates. Sorry I missed you.
  9. Looks like you had another good day of fishing.
  10. I'll be there. Ronnie, been fighting lung cancer since last May. Been fishing RRSP all season except for a few days. Hope to see everyone there.
  11. The river should be in great shape.
  12. Sounds like you had some fun today. I'll give it a try again tomorrow. Ralph
  13. I'm here most of the time.
  14. Congrat's Michael. Best of luck with your new responsibilities. Ralph Conrad
  15. Thanks. I've been working on my house for a long time but am about to finish the project. Plan to do a lot more fishing soon.
  16. Fished for 1 1/2 hours this afternoon from 3:30-5:00. Caught 10 fish, all on bead (gold) headed olive wooly size 14. Plenty of fish to be caught in the river right now. Good fishing, Ralph
  17. The green metal chest box was probably a Richardson Fly Box. Tim's Flyshop has them. He's over by Roaring River.
  18. I finally came around to the other side looking for you but you had already gone. Yesterday was a good afternoon of fishing, caught about 30 fish before leaving. Went back this morning around 11 and left about 2. Caught plenty of fish before I left. The crowd was already starting to show. The weekend will be busy. I will probably go back Sunday afternoon. I fish Sun-Fri most weeks. Hope to see you there. Ralph Conrad
  19. I spent the afternoon at the river again today. The fish were still hitting about everything I threw at them. Didn't catch as many as yesterday, but had a great time again.
  20. Good to have you back fishing Tim. Dana and I caught over 40 fish each yesterday afternoon fishing from 1-5. We caught all of our fish on olive woolies #14. See you at the River, Ralph Conrad
  21. Fishing on the river was great again today. Caught fish from noon til 5. They never stopped hitting my flies.
  22. Fished this afternoon and the work was done. Still a lot of organics floating down the river but the fishing was terrific. A friend and I each caught about 30 fish in 2 hours.
  23. I drove up there this afternoon around 5. Walked around by the lake(Mill area) and then moved down by the first bridge and walked down the east side of the creek looking around. I didn't go to the second entry point. Didn't see many trout.
  24. Nice fish Tim, I guess you got your wish. When I was in yesterday you said you hoped it rained today. Ralph Conrad
  25. Hey there Duckdoty, good talking with you today. I got there about 10 and stayed til the bell. I caught 29 fish today and my friend caught 35. No big fish enticed to bite. Caught them on olive wooly, primrose and pearl, pheasant tail, copper john, and several others.
